It must be on the Proboards side, as it seems that our GoDaddy hosted images exist as usual. I will check with Proboards Support to see if there is anyinformation there about some sort of change.

Well, the problem is solved ... whether by a Proboards staff member, or by this Forum's staff member (who may have made the mis-step that caused the problem). My fumbling around got me logged off, so that I could not even try again to find the 'admin' menu selection. Now I have the knowledge (if my memory holds out) on how to make my way around should the problem reoccur.

I seem to have this problem as well now. And I haven't been able to find where the buttons are defined in the admin panel so far to try to fix it. All I could find was the logic for the press effect in Advanced Styles & CSS -> Style Sheet.

So now we are back to plain text main menu items ... not even the static (default, inactive) images being shown. So someone tried to make a change, and this is the result?
It has been years since I put the stuff in, and my memory isn't what it used to be. I don't know if it was a plug-in, or just something in the main headers/footers ... or even something in the images area. I will do some researching later today.
Post in this thread if anyone plans to do anything in the admin section BEFORE you dive into it.

Okay, so somehow a plug-in was disabled, and that removed the buttons from the main menu. I had no intention of making any changes, but was just exploring to see where I originally made changes to enable the buttons, and went to plug-ins. All but one of the plug-ins were enabled, and one was disabled. I enabled it just to see if that was the one needed, and VOILA, the buttons were back. So instead of returning to re-disable it, I left it alone.
So I am getting a refresher course in this Forum's operation ... and find that I needed it!
