Greetings!
I'm a long time Gruntz owner/player. Have watched GooRoo's forum from time to time and decided this was the time to join.
So... what's with all the missing graphics? Is this due to the file hosting problem? Any work arounds?

Welcome! The only workaround to the web host problem is to switch your skin in profile to "Basic". That will allow you to see iconz and such, but downloadz are impossible.

I have not heard anything from 1and1 (my most recent attempt at a web host) regarding an upgrade to a dedicated server (what they say is required to allow me to do what Neron Hosting provided so nicely). If such an upgrade is possible, at a reasonable price, then background imagez, Custom Level downloadz, on-line walkthroughz, custom buttonz, extra smiliez, et cetera will be restored. Anticipating that a suitable web host will be found, I am converting the Forum's Gruntz Level Editor manual from UBBC into HTML (with relative addressing!) that will provide considerable freedom in migrating from one web host to another. Now that I have provided a bit of information regarding your questionz ... Welcome! to GooRoo's Gruntz Forum!

Thanks! Yeah, Basic works much better. I'm kicking myself about that because I had read the little blurb about that at least 3 times previous (on purpose, too) and still glossed right over it when setting my profile settings. I hope you're able to find a suitable web host. That 1and1 crap is pathetic. Heck, I'd let you use one of my compys for it but... I don't have the IP reservation that would be necessary, wouldn't have any redundant features, plus I can't provide the domain rights... plus I think my wife would object if I had YET ANOTHER compy (I have 6) running all the time.
