Okay, me again! Now I am at the point where the sponge grunt has to hit the other grunt to open the warp. The sponge grunt won't hit him! They are friends!

Okay, me again! Now I am at the point where the sponge grunt has to hit the other grunt to open the warp. The sponge grunt won't hit him! They are friends! Then don't shoot him! Shoot at the place where your friendly Grunt will be, then quickly select the other Grunt and move him there. P.S. This tip works in every Grunt puzzle ... remember it, because you will use it again ... soon.

If you play custom levels, you should remember this; it's a part of the tool now, just like running diagonally is with bombz.

thanks for the tip! This part of the puzzle has an arrow pointing in the other direction and the warp is behind the arrow. The walkthrough says "Shoot the shovel gruntz over the arrow to trigger the red warp." I can't do it!!

Shoot at the arrow and then move your gruntz onto the arrow. He will then be shot over the arrow. It takes a bit of timing but not muxh because of course it takes time for the sponge gruntz to actually shoot. This is a technique you will find used on a regular basis once you get past this level

I think the last help book you see, on section 1 of area 8 is about this... I don't know why they put it earlier on in the levels.

Is this where you are talking about?
Now the sponge grunt waits near the timer switch and the shovel grunt enters the arrow maze. He picks up the megaphone, give the spring to the sponge grunt. Now step on the arrow which leads to the three green toggle switches. From the first green switch step back on the arrow and then straight forward over the other three switches. You're now being lead to the black one switch in the corner. Proceed to the third green switch, walk back to the arrow again and then straight forward to the exit of the maze. Wait on the green hold switch. Now the spring grunt enters the maze. He merely jumps over the switches going the wrong way the first time, but when he jumps over the switches the second time he gets out off the maze!

Sorry if I'm being a pain. Am I the only one here who hasn't completed the entire game? Okay, so now I can get through the arrow maze, but there are only three switches, and there four little arrows that change direction. Did I miss something earlier? the last one won't change no matter how many times I stand on the switches.

You're not being a pain. This is exactly what this forum is for. And you're probably not the only one who hasn't completed the game. There are probably a few here haven't. The switch you seek lies outside the maze at the end. It's in the corner of those mushroomz. At this point there's only one way out, and that's to walk over the spikez. One of your gruntz will take some damage, but that's OK, it's not fatal. But one of them could lose a tool if he walks/jumps on spikez. The question is, which one?

i can't get my second grunt through the maze. please help Are you talking about the Arrowz maze? If so, it is merely a matter of stepping on the Yellow Toggle Switchez until all of the two-way Arrowz are pointing in the direction you need to go. (You may have to back up or exit the maze and re-enter in order to get the Switchez set properly.)
