I would recommend starting out with those designers who only released one Custom Level, and work your way up from there. The exception is Paul's "A World Of Sweetz"; while he only released one Custom Level, it is a toughie! (The first timed Gruntz puzzle, nested CoveredPowerUpz, etc.) Then work your way up through the two, three and four CL Designerz. Leave "Gunter's" CLz for last ... you'll be glad you did! (His are the most difficult CLz to play and solve, so the more experience one has in solving Gruntz puzzlez, the easier it will be to solve his ... but never truly easy!)

I think we also attempted to rate them difficulty wise. I would advise skipping over tryout levels unless you feel a need to do them just because they are just point and click usually. Easy to medium would seem best.

HELLLPPP! how come when I use my resurrection spell, only nine gruntz are made... I've tried and tried and it always misses the lower right goo puddle Somehow, somewhere, you managed to keep a grunt alive which performed an essential task for you, but which you do not now need. You are only allowed a total of 15 gruntz; once you reach that total and you are using a resurrection spell, excess goo puddlez will not be revived. The most likely culprit is way back at the beginning where you had a spongegun shoot your grunt over an arrow. The spongegun is supposed to fall into space, but it is possible for him to shoot your grunt over the arrow and remain on solid ground.

Yup! that's got to be it... I hate killing the little guys unless necessary... so I guess I'll go make him jump into space. Thanks for your help!

Yup, I think it goes against our nature (at least, for most of us) to deliberately ")ispose" of our own gruntz. Same goes for allowing our gruntz' health to get into the red. But sometimes, sacrifices must be made for the sake of the team!

(Try it with a Sword Grunt some time. )

That was one surprise I learned only about a year ago after I had the game for about 4 years. I was like wow! You learn something new every day.

At least one member of the Gruntz design team had a sense of humor! To me, that is a large part of the charm of the game of Gruntz. Wait until you see "Knight'z Tour" ... there are some new wrinklez in it (ala the use of Toyz when dealing with SuicideBomber Gruntz ).
