Notes: This is a "tryout" level.
This Custom Level was originally available from: Gruntz - The Journey Home which no longer supports downloads (and now is a security risk) ... but the successor GooRoo's Gruntz - The Journey Home (still) does!

This one had a 'fatal flaw' in it. There are multiple GruntCreationPointz, and all the solver needed to do was bake his first new Grunt and place him on the last GruntCreationPoint in order to finish the puzzle. Now, the puzzle is slightly smaller, slightly more challenging, and the solver must create new Gruntz in each area, in order to be able to finish the CL without cheating. Happy Gruntzing!!! P.S. Both the original version and the updated one may be downloaded ... the new one is ...2.wwd.I lost the original version.

I think it is sufficiently different to be called a 'new level' ... or at least a re-release. It will likely give solverz about 15 minutez of adrenalin pumping.

OK GooRoo, where did you hide the second secret to the warp letters It's not like there's a lot of eye candy to hide it in, but I couldn't find it.

Did anyone have to re-start (and re-play) because they did not make it past the (lowered) Black Pyramidz before the Rolling Rock turned them into (raised) BPz by rolling over the Black One- Time Switch ? Edit: ( GooRoo) corrected broken linkz to Neron hosting, and added text to help in understanding my post.

This is the first custtom level right? It is one of the very first Gruntz Custom Levelz that I found when my wife turned the game over to me, after she decided she didn't like it enough to keep playing it. Her loss, my (our?) gain!

PERFECT in 7.37!! Thankz Kirby for thiz CL I saw here a few good thingz. First, the bunch of Coinz - I needed some time at first to know that there are not ONLY Crumble Bridgez, so good idea . Second, good idea also with giving the Toy Boxez with the same Beach Ball to the Gruntz (you must get an idea to thiz ). Third - I saw that if all the Crumbling Bridgez are sink, the water under them is darker a little bit so I can still observe the "GooRoo" word. So funny...

Well, I just completed the revised version, replacing one SecretTeleporterTrigger with a Secret Switch and finished in about seven and a half minutes ... but left one Coin behind.
If I can do it, I'm sure that the (much) younger Gruntzerz can do it as well, and probably a lot faster, to boot!
Is there any interest in what amounts to version 3 of this Quest?

Personally I think the 2005 version is just right. The race against the Rolling Ball is the challenge that makes the level Medium difficulty, but I don't think it's enough to raise the difficulty any more, since the other parts of the level are so simple. I just had a go at the map and reached the yellow switch with the ball on the corner before the final stretch, which shows that there is plenty of time left even if you go and collect all the coins. But you have to keep moving, yeah, this wouldn't be something you play for relaxation, so I think the Medium rating is well earned. Edit: Well, this comment seems out of place now, since the difficulty of the level is not Medium anymore. Shortly after that discussion, a slightly more difficult version of the level named Gruntz Land 2 was created. At the request of grosserfluss, the difficulty rating of the original was lowered to Easy+, while the sequel retained the Medium rating. However, I think this level should not be rated any lower, since it is both timed and requiring the use of the "magic shovel" trick.
