We can continue using Gamer's rules:
1: Words may not be less than 3 letters or more than 5 letters. 2: You may only change, add, or delete one letter at a time, and the letter you change should be in a different color. 3: You may not change a letter twice in a row. 4: The word must be changed at least twice before you can play again. 5: You may not return to a word previous in the chain. 6: You must supply the definition for the word, but you don't have to supply the word (if others agree). 7: The goal is to play as long as possible, so keep this in mind when choosing words. 8: You may not change a word my merely changing the tense of the word.
PLANT: to put or set in the ground for growth
My apologies to GooRoo and Gamer for the mistaken word. And also, my intent was not to end the game, merely to point out the duplicate word. The recaps are a good idea.

- _ _ _ _
Past tense and past participle of "To put or set down"
(Note: I am adding - as a "deleted letter" part. The next word can just be 4 blanks. I changed this to - from | since the | looks like an I)
I think the game should end when someone repeats, if it's far enough along, it's always good to start new along the way.
