There is frequently a difference between the way the designer intended a (sub-)puzzle to be solved, and the way solverz actually do it. There are also differencez between each solver's approach. In a few situationz, my method was different from IdleAl's, so I have posted both methodz in the walkthrough I am linking in. In this CL, there are 'battlez' between Gruntz and the disGruntled that I have tended to handle very much differently than described in the walkthrough that has been here for quite some time. Some methodz are used to retain the health of Gruntz; some to decrease the amount of time spent getting through the area. And, as in Bjarni's huge "Gruntz In Space" CL, sometimez the best AND fastest solution is simply not to fight at all! So you, the solver, will have to decide which method you want to use, when two are presented.

I believe it is possible to achieve a "Perfect!" result on this CL in under 2 hourz (barely). I just managed it in less than 2:02:00, while checking out which Grunt has which Tool, at various pointz in the solution of the CL. So someone concentrating on the solution should be able to cut several minutez off my time.
I have the middle third of the CL (where the most difficult sub-puzzlez may be found) walkthrough left to do ... but it is likely more than 1/3rd of the work, because most of these benefit greatly from picturez instead of mere wordz; where to stand; where to go next, et cetera. I am hoping to have the BETA version complete no later than Monday afternoon (Pacific Standard time ... this post is made at around 6:38PM in my time zone).

I have all of the different major areaz now completed, and even have imagez linked in for the more difficult partz. The Warp letterz are now imagez for this CL, not its 'clone mother/father'. So have at it, and let me know about any problemz in the walkthrough, please!

Gaby asked, GooRoo answered. How did you manage to brack the rockz while standing on the spikez... I die evrey time I try... Whenever you have to fill in a Hole, or Break something while standing on Spikez, there are two rulez to follow: - Be as healthy as possible
- Be quick!
1. Be healthy 2. Be quick I am at the section where the gruntz have to each dig/break different ways thru spikes/holes/rocks, etc, and there is a BH gruntz standing above on an OS. Gauntlet went to the right side with rocks & spikes and a pogo stick to pick up. Shovel & bootz went into the bottom left with spikez, holez, and rockz. There is also one OP and one OS. Gunhat is just hanging for aawhile but will enter the top left area when the two BPz are lowered. This whole area is SE of the map slightly after the middle. Well, gauntlets cannot seem to make it thru w/o dying. He has full health and I try to be quick but ... I'm about to quit but thought I'd ask anyway. What can I do? Please help my poor little gruntz.

Let's see if I remember how that is accomplished. Gauntletz has the hardest time, as I recall, and (even with those Kegz of Zap Cola) has a tough time. Breaking Rockz leavez behind Tilez where he can stand painlessly. Hopefully, he startz out with fairly good Health when he stepz on the Black One-Time Switch ... don't go for refreshmentz until his Health is in low Yellow, or high Red ... then go back for the Keg of Zap Cola. I believe you must break the first three Rockz before you "drink up" (break, forward, break, forward, break, retreat). That way, he has full Health once again, to cross three Spikez, and stand on a fourth set of Spikez while he breakz the fourth Rock (move quickly after breaking every Rock!) Then break the last Rock and get the Keg of Zap Cola to be restored to full Health. BTW, if Gauntletz had a Toy, he'd better set it down for another Grunt to pick up! He is the only one who will be able to get the Pogo-Stick. Shovel and Gravity Bootz work together in the western area. Shovel has to fill in one Hole while standing on Spikez (ouch!), and cross over (quickly!) to the other side to fill in the other Hole. (I recommend filling in every Hole! If you dig up a Mound, fill it in after you, even if there was nothing in it!) Shovel may leave the area as soon as it is possible for him to do so, but Gravity Bootz has to stick around to help out Gauntletz, who has a small task to perform in that same area. The GunHat Grunt may dispose of an enemy Grunt (well hidden!) as soon as he is able to get to the Green Hold Switch. I recommend using the 'T' method to shoot a cannonball at every tree he can reach. If rewarded with an 'ouch!' ... shoot there again! Remove as many of those Ninja as possible, before your team getz close enough to find the wrong end of a "butter knife".

I'm nearing the end of this...."delightful?" level! LOL I'm at the fight with the 10 enemy sword gruntz. Actually I was finished with it and getting ready to suck up all the goo when I remembered from reading through here before that there is a RW here. I walked all over and can not find the trigger. I guess one of the enemies triggered it and I didn't notice?? Luckily I have a save right before the fight Could someone tell me where the trigger is? Thanks! I found it..... and finished this level with a PERFECT For any future players of this level here's a hint for crossing the breakable bridges at the very end. After you select your 2 gruntz to cross, it's all about WHERE you click on the landing...

I hope you also have a SAVE after the battle, since IIRC it is almost impossible for any enemy Grunt to trigger the Red Warp. You have to use 'friendly fire' to get to the Red Warp trigger ... those Arrowz on the western edge are the barrier you must cross.

I finish but I lost 1 coinz That is better than I have done in re-playing this CL to finish up the walk-through ... I missed THREE Coinz! But I developed a repeatable method of getting 8 gruntz across 5 Crumbling Bridgez, so all was not lost.

After a long time away from this CL, I am once again at work on completing the walk-through. (It may require re-playing the CL for the partz that I have forgotten (curse this CRS disease!) in the last two monthz.) Right now, the walk-through is confusing, because of HTML errorz throwing much text out of the proper place for the information. So I will be concentrating on correcting those errorz before I do any re-playing (if necessary), and the walk-through may be quite usable as it is.

Fixing broken linkz (several in this thread), I discovered that the walk-through was incomplete. It is now complete, with each of the twenty-two sub-puzzlez having their own section, and thumbnail imagez of the physical map that is involved ... and the ability to click on a link to see the full size image. For those who gave up on trying to get eight Gruntz across five crumbling bridgez, there is a 100% repeatable graphic solution. As for getting past the three enemy Gruntz AFTER the bridgez, I described the Arrowz method, and completely forgot about the toyz method. So instead of Shovel crossing first, any Grunt with a toy could be first. Give the first enemy Grunt the toy, and have him "exit, stage left (or right)". The solver's next Grunt with a toy crossez, and "hands off" the toy to the first Grunt ... who givezs it away. Two Gruntz (one with a toy) then cross together and the toy is passed forward to the first Grunt, who disposez of the last enemy Grunt. Piece of cake!
