Well, I was doing pretty well, until I got to the area with all of the purple and orange switchez, and the BOTS and the Green Switch... Gauntletz entered, broke all of the brickz he could reach, killed the rockz gruntz, got the shovel, dug all the holez he could reach...got the strawz, sucked up all the goo, created a new grunt, got the gauntletz, and gave the shovel to the new grunt. Got the three coinz in the center...and then it fell apart. The two of them can't stand on three switchez at the same time, so Shovelz went through the green warp, back to the battle area...dug up the holez and got the coin, beach ball, spongegun and gunhat. I tried to use the spongegun to shoot all of those purple gruntz unto the purple switchez but it can't be done from that area...so I moved down into the arrowz area, and still couldn't get the last one onto a switch...got any help for this area or am I missing the point here? Seems those guyz need to stand on all the switchez, shovelz/spongegunz needz to go back through the green warp? What about the gunhatz/boomerang checkpoint later on? I give up...try this level one more time please?

Continued from last post... Is this an instance where the spongegun has to be in the right place to get all 5 purple gruntz on the switchez as in "Conquest of the Green Gruntz Castle" (which I STILL can't get)...?

You should take two tripz through the Wormhole, and come back around again to finish the job of sponging enemy Gruntz onto the Purple Switchez. I tried (believe me, I tried!) to do it all in one pass, but I couldn't manage it. But it is fairly simple if you coerce (via spongez) those enemy Gruntz in two passes. Is that enough of a hint?

The problem with this area is the sequence of events that happen in the purple, green, black pyramid square...several things happen there, and every time I try to figger it out, I end up doing something differently.... When I first enter, it is with gauntletz. He breaks all the bricks, gets the shovel, digs all the holes and undigs them again...kills all the rocks gruntz and exposes the gooberstraw and another pair of gauntlets...I used the gauntletz to break all the rocks, then the gooberstraw to make another grunt who got the shovel at the top, and gave the final pair of gauntletz to the gooberstraw grunt... This is where it gets tricky....IF they stand on the purple switchez where the green and black pyramidz are....or if they stand on the switch in the middle and the green one, or the black one...different things happen....I don't recall the order, but on one occasion, the pyramidz in the lower corners came down, exposing the boomerang and the orange switch...if I claim the boomerang, and step on the orange switch, they can stand on the purple switch at the top and the middle one, and the upper pyramidz go down...BUT if you stand in the upper right hand corner, it triggers a warp in the Lower right hand corner, and you can't get to it because the pyramidz are up again.... Can you please help me to get through this area with all my hair intact? Thank you so much! I found out that it is possible to shoot four of the purple gruntz onto switchez in one pass...AND the second from the top is already down, which means you probably have to shoot one onto the secret switch too....and how are you supposed to get anywhere from those arrowz?

The Arrowz area with the Green Wormhole is useful to get to many places ... other than via the Green Wormhole. There are a couple of SecretTeleporterTriggerz in there ... one you can reach all alone, the other requires help from another Grunt, to 'nudge' you to a place you cannot reach otherwise, just before you crash into oblivion.

The last time I re-played this CL (as part of outlining a Walkthrough), I missed a Blue Toggle Switch! And the area where there are all of those Purple Pyramidz, and Purple Multi-Grunt Switchez controlling them? Something does not work properly when such PMGSz are used in different combinationz, in order to raise/lower different Purple Pyramidz. However, by occupying those PMGSz and moving a Grunt from one to another, you can eventually lower the Purple Pyramidz you need to pass through. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

The Purple Multi-Grunt Switchez/Purple Pyramidz area, and the Arrowz area have Green Wormholez (permamently refreshing) for a reason ... you will need to send Gruntz through them to those areaz a few timez, in order to accomplish everything you need to do. You need a Gauntletz Grunt passing through the Arrowz; a GunHatz Grunt, a Shovel Grunt; a SpongeGunz Grunt, for example. The first Grunt through (Gauntletz) does well just to survive. Later Gruntz have additional time, and additional taskz to do, without being harassed by the enemy Boomerang Grunt (hint ). In this Custom Level, the "rule of thumb" is "be kind to the enemy, unless they are unkind to you ... and even then, there are timez you need to be kind to the enemy". Example: those five Gruntz near the Purple Multi-Grunt Switchez; turning them into Goo makez it impossible for you to solve the CL. There is an enemy Boomerang Grunt that triez to use that "curved piece of wood" on you; turning him into Goo (too soon) meanz you cannot complete the CL. Beware: there is a decoy CheckPointSwitch in this CL ... while it is not possible to (legally) satisfy that CheckPointSwitch, you may be lead up the wrong path trying to acquire what you need.

so...as I came back through the green warp... to where the swordz enemy survived...do I have to go through the arrowz once more and through the red warp in order to go back to the starting point ... is there a way to aliminate the swordz enemy?

In that sub-puzzle with the enemy Rockz Gruntz, Club Gruntz and Sword Gruntz, it is important that those enemy Gruntz do one another in in different placez, so that as much Goo as possible is available to be sucked up. Any enemy Grunt survivorz need to be dealt with via "Hit & Run" tacticz ... whack one once, and run to some Zap Cola, so that you are healthy enough to whack again, and survive getting whacked in return.

This part is fun... to let them fight one another, but ... every time I play this part the result were different... is there an absolute way? for example ... I freed the rockz first then the clubz and the swordz... is that the right way to do this part

That is the way I did it ... and the way I planned it to be done! The thing is, there are Gruntz that are "Hit and Runnerz", that do thingz in a random way; "Chaserz" who will follow you until you manage to get out of their 'sensing range' ... or to a place where they cannot follow ; and Defenderz, who will come after you if you enter into their perimeter, and leave off chasing once you leave their perimeter. It was intendedfor this to be a random effect, with different resultz each time you attempted to solve the sub-puzzle. Added to the difficulty of the sub-puzzle is the need to collect Goo Puddlez; without that need, the solver wouldn't have to be at all concerned about where an enemy Grunt was turned into Goo.

OK then... if the rsult are random than so will the goo puddelez placez be... and the solver has no way to control it... well what about the way aut of there

You must turn all of the enemy Gruntz that started out hemmed in by Black Pyramidz into Goo, so that you may reach the Blue Toggle Switchez inside their confinement areaz. In the case of the Sword Gruntz, they will return to their starting locationz when there are no enemy Gruntz within their 'sensing range'. When they return, they may raise the Toggling Bridge stepping stone for you, if the survivor(z) are onez that began on the Switchez.
For a winning solution against the random actionz of the enemy Gruntz, whenever battlez stop because there are no enemiez within sensing range, and Goo Puddlez have not been combined ... SAVE! Then come out from your 'safe' place, and entice the Gruntz to begin battling again. Losing a Goo Puddle or two does not prevent you from succeeding, but you should have at least 8 Goo Puddlez ... the more, the better.

* while starting all over again, I noticed a red warp that I could not reach, the trigger is on the path 'in' and the warp is on the path 'out' - how do I get there on time? * if I kill the enemy with the arrow ( I did it with the red pyrmidz), I loose goo, and some puddlez became one so I got only 4 * how do I get out alive from this part to continue? Thanks in advance...

You probably already know this, but you get to the Red Warp by bypassing one Coin, and going directly to the Red Warp. After you return from the Red Warp, you can easily go back and get that Coin you bypassed.
I just played the CL, and I had 10 Goo Puddlez (all 10 enemy Gruntz, with no losses), so I know it is possible. By playing it, I also know that the solver can miss two Goo Puddlez and still solve the CL.
Keep one eye on the pathway around the edge of the map. Whenever you manage to complete it, there is a small task you need to do before you return to the main line of the CL.
