I do not mean to frustrate anyone with the levels; if you can't do something please stop and ask way before you get frustrated to the point of tears. The Gruntz levelz are for fun and not to be discouraged.

Well, as usual, I'm the late bloomer....So I have a set of springz to use at the start....I walked around for a bit, to see what the lay of the land was....there is a gooberstraw to the south....a swordz standing on a switch....another swordz standing out in the middle and a clubz.... From reading the postz and threadz...I assume I am supposed to kill all these enemiez and suck some goo? Yeah, right... So, I'm up with insomnia, and have nothing better to do, and get stumped right at the start... Where'z a walkthrough when you need one? Oh, and how will I be notified that I have an answer posted? I shall just come back and see tomorrow....

You misread the post. They are supposed to get killed, but you don't have to kill them yourself. Also note the title of the level; it applies to the level and this part.

I tried giving the springz to the thief grunt...and then walking down to get the gooberstraw. The clubz killz getz killed but damagez the swordz....the barehanded I forgot about and the other swordz has full health...no match against a barehanded grunt....is there a strategy that I am overlooking?

before you give the springz away lure the clubz and the barehanded to fight the swordz and go kill him and the boxinglovez too... now you can bake a new grunt... Gamer... don't you think it's about time to releas the walkthrough?...

It is also available in word wrap form if that works on the web. Then you don't have to keep scrolling over.
The basic idea is get the non-sword gruntz attracted to you and then hide from their view so they attack the sword grunt instead, and make sure to join in on the fight when this starts.

Thanks for the walkthrough. I just played it again, and I noticed some much easier ways to do things than I did them the first time through. It's a really good level.

Even with a WT, I am confused.....my grunt is standing at the BP, BOTS maze in the bottom of the map...the WT says go left and down one pyramid, go to the right and down one pyramid, one space right and down to the YHS....doesn't work for me...I can't get back to the top, and even when I try other things, and can get back to the top, the RR getz trapped just before it should roll over the GTS and stayz between the TWA and the arrow just to the right. What am I doing wrong here?

first send one grunt trough the wormhole to the YHS... send the other grunt to the right row and press two BOTSz...go to the middle row and press more two BOTSz... you are on the YHS... now... go back the way you came in (on three pressed BOTSz) go to the left row and press the first BOTS... go to the YHS... now down again on the pressed BOTSz...

You folks will hate me for posting after everybody has finished this but......I just have started this and cannot figure how to control the boothz grutz to step in the right yellow switches. I can do the first 3 ones but snow ball always crashes at the last two-way arrow.
It makes hard not to be able the ball while controling the bootz!
Thanks for any help when any of you have time Carmen

first of all make sure you know which YTS controls which TWA, and in what order so you'll know in which direction to lure the Bootz enemy so when he's going to attack your grunt he'll step on the right YTS... I do not remember the combination, but I remember it took me a while to do it... you'll have to practice this one...

Remember that gruntz move diagonally until they are in a straight line with their target. Since the bridges (and docks) are only one tile wide, you can figure out the path ahead of time, once you figure out what switches to hit.
After the ball passes over the two-way arrow 1 tile later: Top left switch 8 tiles later: Bottom left switch 2 tiles later: Bottom right switch 8 tiles later: Top right switch
Keep in mind that the timing here is not tight, as the ball takes three times as long to move from tile to tile as a grunt does.
In my solution, I have the grunt pressing two switches to get to that last switch.
Also, I like it when later solvers ask questions about my levels... I enjoy reviewing my released levels and like hearing about them.
