I hope I'm not the first person to try this one. I got thru the green pyramids with the help of an enemy, but now where do I go. I'm with my friend and neither one of us has a tool. We have to get by (or rid of) an enemy sword. There doesn't seem to be anywhere else to go. Help?

I personally think this level is much harder than easy, and changed it to Medium as a result of this. I assume that's fine with you GooRoo I think it's a great level, particularly in how the graphics were done. Anyway, you have already used the jump rope (I did not find a way going back through the level to keep it) and so you don't have anything to fight the swords grunt. If you don't need its goo, you can always get it to follow you (even around in circles) until you get to a way you can squash it yourself. See what is coming up in the areas around you that you can use to squash this grunt.

I would never call any of Gunter'z CLz 'easy'! Even "Ice" was a real challenge to play and solve, and it is a rather small map as Gunter'z CLz go. This must have been a matter of copy and paste from another CL description, and the edit step was omitted. (Probably in the short-lived Forum that Bjarni created for Gruntz in November, 2003 ... and in our haste to capture everything before it was lost, we didn't notice the incorrect rating for the CL.)

Thanks Gamer. I managed to squash the swordz, and make it through the next two sections. Now I'm stuck looking at a row of swordz that I know the ball is supposed to squish, but I only have three goo puddlez. How do I get to the yellow switch to release the ball without a new grunt. Seems like there needs to be another puddle somewhere.

There were three enemy Gruntz near the four Purple Multi-Grunt Switchez, and three Grunt Puddlez. Turn one of those Gruntz (which one?) into Goo, and you have your fourth Grunt Puddle, allowing you to bake a new Grunt to stand on the Yellow Hold Switch, releasing the Rolling Rock (and your Gauntletz Grunt) to squish the enemy Sword Gruntz. Once the RR is released, step out of the path of the RR (new Grunt) after Gauntletz is out of the Arrowz area also.
Follow behind the Rolling Rock (with your Gauntletz Grunt) as it squishez the enemy Sword Gruntz.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand how I can get to the megaphonez for the strawz if I kill one of the enemyz. I need springz and gauntletz on the left of the purple pyramidz and two other gruntz on the right to stand on the switchez. Then and only then can I suck up the goo and let the RR go to kill the other enemyz. If I kill one of the three original enemyz (instead of converting him) I would only have three gruntz to work with instead of four.

OK! I restarted and figured it out. Some of the enemyz (I had forgotten) can be punched around without fighting back. So I got thru that area, did the secret switch and went to the next. Now I have a shovel and bootz. I see that I need both of them for the next cp but when do I pick up the gauntletz? and with whom? and does shovelz have enough energy to close a hole by the BOT switch so that the enemy bomb can step on it or do I even do that? Oooh my brain is beginning to hurt

well... I found the way to save some energy... bootz and shovelz go through the blue warp... now shovelz steps on the BOTz... but the bombz enemy do the RB of second and the third BTSz and some rockz... not enough... and the bootz cannot go to the megaphon or pass the bridge ... I'm sure I missed something but I don't know what, where and when...

The wings and megaphone are reachable via a red wormhole in the lower right area of the level. Once you get inside the wormhole, be ready for another puzzler as there is a definite strategy to using the wings. It's been too long since I played it to tell you all the details.. I just remember it gave a lot of people problems.. but it is doable. Good luck!

Sorry, but you only get 2 sets of wings. The trick is to find the shortest possible path to the 4 green switches, the BOT and the landing with the coins, letter and boots. It takes some daredevil maneuvering, like following the RR as close as you can and, at the last minute, heading for the BOT. Just curious... how did you get the gauntlets in the spikes area with your shovelz? I forgot how I did that.
