Don't shoot those enemy Sword Gruntz (yet) ... give them something to play with!

I am at the beginning of the level...I need to put two of the three emeny gruntz on the purple switchez, so I can get through the checkpoint with the gauntlez gruntz. There are no toys available, and even if I had them, there is no way to lure them onto the switchez... What I need is help in positioning myself to shoot them onto the switchez... the walkthrough says to kill one of them...but that still leaves two, and a hole right in the wrong place!

This level is one that will test your gruntzing mettle. The trick to these guys is to get just close enough to lob a sponge at them but not close enough to trigger them into attacking you. The best way to figure that out is to use the Ctrl-T method. Start with the grunt closest to your spongegun. Position your spongegun so that he is out of the enemy's sensing range. Press Ctrl-T and stretch your aiming line out toward the grunt you're aiming at. If it turns black before or just when you get the cursor over the enemy grunt, then you need to move your spongegun forward. Just move him forward a tile at a time until you find the tile he needs to stand on in order to be able to hit the enemy with a sponge. Now fire and move the enemy back a square. As you move one enemy back, you may have to move the others back a square also so that you can advance your spongegun forward. Keep doing this until you get one up near the purple switchez. Swing your spongegun around to maneuver the enemy gruntz onto the purple switchez. Since there are just two switchez, you will have to dispose of the third enemy in order to be able to get to the checkpoint.

AHA!!! All my practice shooting purple gruntz onto switchez in "Uphill Battle" has paid off....I waltzed right in and shot those green gruntz onto their switchez like nobody's business today!! There is hope that I'll even be able to shoot that baredhanded grunt to his gauntletz in "Knight'z Tour" yet!

Are you sure you have all of the necessary Gruntz standing on the proper Switchez?

There are several CheckPointSwitchez in this CL, and often widely separated from the CheckPoint Pyramidz they control. I believe there is one 'way in the southeast corner that controls CheckPoint Pyramidz near the Purple Switchez/Pyramidz area where the solver has a SpongeGun and Gauntletz vs two Clubz Gruntz and a Sword Grunt. Have you satisfied that CPS?

no way... I cannot win this race... so... I killed the enemyz one by one with the arrows... as GooRoo said once... a lot of answerz ago... there are 3 wayz to solve a pazzle: the designers way... by accident and the solvers way... so I'll try doing it my way...

well...I did it my way... my problem is luring the swordz to the PS... I'm so low with health after fighting the 2 shildz enemy and walking on spikez... I'll never do it to the GTS and to the BOT... so I think I'll give it up at this point...

ok... I think I made here a mistake... I gave the bootz to both my gruntz insted of giving both bootz to one grunt... so... then I'll have one gruntletz in the resoursez... am I right this time? I'll try it ...

I am assuming that you mean the rolling coconutz where shovelz has to walk around them?
The way that worked for me was to get springz onto the yellow toggle switch....let the coconutz roll past the shovelz, step on the green toggle switch just until the coconutz pass the lowest green pyramid....then walk down to the left corner, wait as the coconutz pass, and walk down on the left side behind the left coconut until the space openz up a bit, then you can walk straight down for a bit, and cut across, in front of the coconutz and get to the top most walkway.....go fill the hole, and wait for them to turn the corner and head back across as fast as your little grunt feet will go, fill the hole, go right down and get the gauntletz, break the right hand rock, go straight down and break the first rock, keep going to the bottom left corner, break the rock, step on the orange switch, break the other rock, get the coin, go across the arrowz, and straight up to the two rockz...Break the lower one first, then the upper, and step back out of the way! WHEW!
Took me a time or two to get the hang of it, but if this old arthritic gruntzer can do it, you can!
