Of course, it helps if you READ the Walkthrough correctly......I was trying to send shovelz over to fill the holez...which is correct, BUT I did not read that he was supposed to uncover the first hole, preventing the enemy gruntz from getting to him.....ahem..... Now, I am ready for swordz to go through the spikez field to get the springz...BUT he only has half health from fighting the enemy gruntz....it's impossible....even if I step on the candlez for safety (for a short time)....any strategy here that I could use?

I really need help with the conversion bonus. The shovels has a very very low health and it's killed before it can convert any enemy gruntz! Is it possible to get zap cola before conversion bonus?

There is a keg of zap cola under the second hole...dig it up and get healthy before you fill in the first hole. You have to convert them before they hit you....at least that's what worked for me...and you have to do it quickly, before you die!

The walkthrough sayz there is a keg of zap cola for the swordz to the west, and, indeed there is...however, there is no way for him to get to it, and he needz full health to make it to the springz!

There is a Keg of Zap Cola in a Hole just past the Sword Gruntz (who did away with your Gauntletz & Bootz Gruntz). You should have full health with your Sword and Gauntletz Gruntz when you reach the area with the enemy GunHatz Grunt and the Springz maze.

The swordz, shieldz and gauntletz gruntz all had full health when they left the area where the powerup conversion was....then, swordz and shieldz had to fight the three purple swordz.... There were two kegz just before they went into that area, but no way to get back out since the BOTS were tripped when they walked in... They exited the area to the east, joining the gauntletz who has the toy...then on to the silver pyramid area... I don't see a hole in that area and I don't have a shovel to get it either...so I am not quite sure what to do....replay ?

Then your problem was in doing battle with the enemy Sword Gruntz. Gang up on them, both your Gauntletz and your Sword Grunt on one opponent. Whichever of your Gruntz takes a 'hit' from the enemy getz the refreshing Zap Cola. Then on to the next opponent. Repeat as often as necessary.

UHOH, I feel a replay coming on....
and there's another hitch...there is only one can of zap cola in that area...under the cupcakes there is a coin, but that's it....

so... give it to the one grunt how has the less power... sometimez in a hurry we ignore some rockz or holez... remember to break every thing that's breakable (I sometimez forget... )...dig and redig every hole (even if it's not GooRoos CL...) I'm sure you'll find it... [img src=https://gooroosgruntz.info/emoticons/wave.gif[]

As it always seemz to happen, I am nearly at the end...in fact, the fort is in sight....and now I have to shoot my shovelz onto a can of zap cola with two spongegunz....I know that this is only a matter of coordination and timing, but "Man, I hate these partz!!" Between this CL and "Keep the Ball Rolling 5" I am about done in........"When I get through this part, remind me to send the designer some hate mail!"

Let's see, IIRC, you have a Magic Wand (Rolling Ballz) Grunt, a Wingz Grunt, a Springz Grunt and a Shovel Grunt. I don't recall any SpongeGunz Gruntz in the area of the King's Fortress. There were a couple of SpongeGungz Gruntz much earlier, in the Brickz maze protected by a Rolling Rock. Just where are you in this CL, and what Gruntz do you have available?

I have a shovelz, and two spongegunz....they are below an arrow maze. There are cupcakez surrounding the arrowz. The walkthrough sayz to shoot the shovelz to the can of zap cola which is to the left of a BOTS...I am assuming the shovelz will pick up the gauntletz and break all the cupcakez and step on the BOTS to allow the spongegunz to join him later.
You and Gaby have often spoken of the CONTROL # method...I got really frustrated trying to work on Knightz Tour with that method because I am left handed and it seemed very awkward to me. I wondered if this was a situation where that method was needed here too? If it is, I will let this one go {sniff sniff} just like I let Knightz Tour go eventually...some timing puzzlez are just too tight for me.
BUT if this is a situation where just timing is involved....from one spongegun to the other, I may be able to do it....with a little direction. Thanks, GooRoo!

I too have had a problem there (see reply#24) and got the answer (see reply#27)... it's a matter off timing and the spot the spongegunz at... remember to shoot at a tile while the shovelz is 3 steps before that tile...

One of the spongegunz will pick up the gauntletz after the shovelz fills the holes and steps on the BOT. Are you using a left-handed mouse? You know you can go up to key #8 when ding the CTRL-# method? You should have enough time to switch from one spongegun to the other and re Target another arrow. Remember to use your diagonals!

I am not familiar enough with the Control # method to use the key #8. Does this method work only using a right hand mouse? Wouldn't it work if I reverse the buttons? I tried this method when testing Knights Tour and could not get the hang of it...so I am glad it is not needed for this level...now just practice, practice, practice!!!

I tried this method when testing Knights Tour and could not get the hang of it...so I am glad it is not needed for this level...now just practice, practice, practice!!! It should work using either type of mouse-because you don't use the mouse at all. All you need to do is select (w/ the mouse as normal) the grunt you wish to assign a number. Next, press the Ctrl button and any one of the nine number keys at the same time. Now, if you click on the Statz tab on your game screen, you should see the number you have assigned to your selected grunt next to whichever tool and/or toy and/or color brick (if applicable) your grunt is carrying. Your assignments do not even have to be in numerical order. I think it may even be possible to use the number pad portion of the keyboard instead of the number keys on the top row of the keyboard. Once you assign a grunt a number, all you need to do to call up that grunt is just press his number on the keyboard.

Still trapped at the same place....can't seem to shoot my shovelz more than two rowz...Gaby mentioned earlier (post #54) that postitioning of the spongegunz was crucial...anyone remember how to get through this spot? Thanks.
