I realize that it is impossible to get a Perfect! in this level...but I am still missing one secret... I stepped into the square surrounded by spikez, but I guess that's not it. Do you know where it is? And, what about the three cupcakes to the left of the rolling snowballz above the fort...is that where the coinz are? There are no gauntletz to break them with...I have boxing glovez on at this point...  |

I realize that it is impossible to get a Perfect! in this level...but I am still missing one secret... Where the Birthday Candlez are, with an enemy Sword(?) Grunt, pass through the BC'z to the left, then go southeast ... a SecretTeleporterTrigger is located in that area ... for me, a Gauntletz Grunt went through the Red Warp. Boy, if the Red Warp you are missing is not the one I mention above, I don't know what I can do except go into the puzzle and re-play it. I remember this as being a tough Custom Level, with many placez a solver could go wrong (go wrong, go wrong ...), so it may take a while before I am able to re-play it. |

Try the area near the sword and boxing gloves grunts west of the starting area.

If I undertake the task of correcting 'Cake' so that it is possible to achieve a "PERFECT!" score, one of the thingz I would do is identify the SecretTeleporterTrigger Tilez in the 'normal' way ... draw the solver's attention to the Tile without broadcasting "this is it!".

Having trouble in the Birthday Candle area with the enemy swordz....there is supposed to be a RW trigger in there somewhere in the southeast....but danged if I can find it....I have walked on every single tile in that puzzle and left cupcakez , broken cupcakez.... |

The SecretTeleporterTrigger is activated by the Boxing Glovez Grunt (south of the Candlez area, and just about central), and the Gauntletz Gruntz goes through it.

AHA!!! Thanks GooRoo! (((some time later...))) I have now walked all over the boxing glovez area and can't find a trigger anywhere...as I recall it was not marked in the usual way? Do you remember where it is? I played this level eons ago, and have forgotten all the secrets! And, although I made it to the fort, I never got in because the bridge was down...so I am hoping to complete it this time, even without the PERFECT! |

The SecretTeleporterTrigger activated by the Boxing Glovez Grunt is totally unmarked.  It is about 3 Tilez south of the Arrowz barrier around the Birthday Candlez, right in the middle (left to right) in that large open area. The Red Warp openz in the pyramid with Birthday Candlez in several placez on each level of the pyramid. Gauntletz needz to break stuff (and perhapz avoid picking up a Toy ... since he should already have one) before the Red Warp is opened, in order to do everything he must do to get to the RW and through it. |

although I made it to the fort, I never got in because the bridge was down...so I am hoping to complete it this time, even without the PERFECT! you can not get into the fort because the two-way-arrow is pointing the wrong way... that's because ... when you pressed the YTS near the pool/spikez to let gauntletz get the coin and again to let him out, you forgot to press it once more...  and as GooRoo wrote ... the RW is north to the sword guard between Birthday Candlez... gauntletz goes through it to collect the 'R' ... the trigger is in the Boxing Glovez area southeast of the Birthday Candle/spikez ...  |

Ok, back to the drawing board and a restart....thanks for the tips........ Before I get messed up again....I have gauntletz and gravity bootz...they have just triggered the checkpoint below the starting area. There is a gauntlet breaking brick that has a coin just beyond it...IF I break the brick...I have nothing to break the cupcakez with. So, BEFORE I go to the birthday candle puzzle, what should I do? Will I get a chance to come back to that coin? Also, it was mentioned that I NOT pick up the toy in the BC area....but I have to use the go-kart to kill the enemy sword standing on the bridge.....don't I? Otherwise, he'll get me for sure! I guess I could use the clubz....which I gave to the gravity bootz....? |
