you get the clubz before the bootz... you do not break the brick yet... you'll return...you do not trigger the checkpoint before barehanded steps on the YTS again after gauntletz got the coin and out to the bridge... every toy is picked up and given away almost immediately...

as we do too, but It is not possible to achieve a "PERFECT!" score on this puzzle, as two Toolz are mutually exclusive; get the Gauntletz, lose the Bomb; get the Bomb, lose the Gauntletz. this is the notice as GooRoo wrote in the original post

This was a Custom Level that was created and released before GooRoo's Grunt Forum ever existed. We were all disappointed that we could not achieve a " PERFECT!" score. Anyone with the Gruntz Level Editor may modify the Custom Level, deleting the Bomb, so that a " PERFECT!" score would be possible. (I just have never had both the time and the incentive to change it, and re-release it.)

I managed to get the Warpstone Piece to the King, and did a screen grab of the Statz Page image that has been uploaded to the Forum's web host and linked in. Had I read through this thread before I started re-playing the CL, I am sure I would have completed the puzzle without CHEATing ... but I failed to step on the Yellow Toggle Switch ( YTS ) three timez (only stepped on it twice ), so could not reach the King's Fortress. I love this game, though, so was able to place a Grunt on the YTS and finish. I also failed to get the Coin beyond the Gauntletz-breaker Brick . Knowing exactly what must be done (now ), I should be able to complete the puzzle legally. So the big question: Should I fix the problem? I could easily change the ungettable Bomb to EyeCandy, reducing the Tool count to 6.

Yesterday I added a download link for the new version ... but the CL filename was for the original. I corrected that this morning, after re-playing the new version to prove that a " PERFECT!" score is now possible. I was a bit sloooow in my solving time ... I am sure that most solverz will be faster.

I beat all of Gaspi's levels back in December, though I admit this was the only one I bothered to restart to get the "Perfect" (16:05). One of the few times when my tendency not to read any comments before completing the level backfired. Even after the changes, the Secret Teleporter Trigger location is barely noticeable. Gaspi can be safely classified as the first designer who tried to make large and puzzling Questz. His "Golf" and "JUNGLE" came before "A World Of Sweetz" and were also visibly inspired by the Standard Levelz. Each had only one Red Warp (placed on an ordinary tile though) and Secret Switch somewhere near the beginning of the level, as if the maps were supposed to be much shorter. Maybe he didn't know how to lower level size, as many other early designers didn't, and actually decided to fill out the rest of the map. "Cake" is really loose compared to the previous ones and you spend a long time just walking between the destinations. It's also not linear - especially at the beginning you have several different paths and only after some time everything comes together. There surely are some unfair bits in this one and his other maps, as I remember going back to previous saves multiple times. But it was more on the "you didn't do something you didn't know you had to do and now you have to restart" side than "difficult puzzle" side. Additionally, I noticed that the map image for this level was never updated after the release of the new version, so I made the changes myself: i.ibb.co/TkShVfX/CakeAEK.jpg <-- broken link ... wasn't ... just timed out in retrieval

How did you acquire both the Bomb and the Gauntletz? The Black One-Time Switches operating Black Pyramidz around the other tool prevent entering both areas!

That Bomb is a fake. This level was fixed 9 years ago.
