Is there a way to make a Gruntz "run" or "walk faster"? I have to get the conversion scroll and get to an enemy straw gruntz in Sublevel 1......but no matter what I do, I cannot make before my poor gruntz dies. Thanks for any help Carmen - The main thing in this sub-puzzle is to have that Grunt start out with full health.
- Use the Ctrl-# method to quickly select and move the three Gruntz
- The next thing is to avoid the Airplane and its 'CARE package'.
- It really helpz to know what each Green Toggle Switch and Green Hold Switch does ... which Green Pyramidz are changed.
- Step lively!

Thanks for the help. Can you tell me what is the "control-?" method, please? I do not have the gate symbol on my keyboard.

sure you have, shift+3 gives you that symbol that means number... this method when well practice help you to select the right grunt quickly... you can read more about this method in the 'Oilo' ... basically you choose a grunt, press the control button (ctrl)+ any number (let's say 1) and save... that makes this grunt number 1 if you click now on that number the grunt is selected and you can lead him with your mouse (that way you use both handz... this method is very effective when you have to select+act with more then one grunt almost at the same time ('Knight'z tour' for example)...

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post since the last post was well over a year ago...... but I'm going to try here. I am on SL3. My next task is to kill the 3 enemy welder gruntz. There is a green pyramid in the way and I can't figure out how to get it down!!! I have read through the walkthrough multiple times as well as just played around in the level trying to figure it out. I'm starting to feel like I'm missing something simple and the more I try to figure it out the more allusive it becomes!

There'z never to long to post a question! For your problem, you will have to go back to the beginning of the sub-puzzle. Oneof the spongegunz standz on a GTS (green toggle switch), he must step on it again to lower those GPz (green pyramidz).

This is one of those Gruntz puzzlez where it really helpz to have all ten SAVE slotz available for the solution attempt! To possibly save you a lot of pain (read, re-starting from the beginning), you should read through the entire discussion in this thread. For one thing, you cannot leave any Grunt 'behind' in an area where it cannot 'suicide' ... because that would prevent you from ever being able to give the Warpstone to the King. If there is a place where a Grunt can walk into a Hole, off the side of the cloud into space, stand under an airplane where it can drop its 'CARE' package, or stand on a bed of Spikez ... no problem. But there are placez where a Grunt is perfectly safe ... but unable to proceed toward the goal ... watch out for those!

Need more help, please I made it to SL4. I'm at the part where my gauntletz grunt releases a ball at the bottom and grabs a roidz powerup. Smashes the top brick and runs for the reactive armor. He has to go through 3 GPz and have the enemy follow him to use his goo. I can't get the enemy to get through the last pyramid, he keeps getting squashed..... Is this simply a matter of timing or are there any hints/helps anyone can give me Thanks in advance

There is now a full-sized JPEG of the "A World Of Sweetz" map ... 6,329,934 bytez! And that is after I trimmed off one tile from each side ... the only 'loss' is the topz of a couple of Candy Canez at the top near the King's Fortress. Except for that area, another 64 pixelz could be removed from each border, but probably would not significantly reduce the size of the JPEG. It just might help someone plan out the solution of this huge puzzle ... print out the map and tape it together (probably would take nine pagez of (USA) standard 8-1/2" X 11" paper ... maybe even sixteen pagez). I was thinking of making up a picture of the first BIG Silver Pyramidz maze with the route marked out from both north and south Silver Timer Switchez. I alwayz cursed the Designer of that mini-puzzle, because it required scrolling the map while moving the grunt, in order to make it through the maze in time to use the Shovel, and get out of it. Once the patch was available to display Gruntz in 1024 pixelz (32 tilez) by 768 pixelz (24 tilez) it was possible to set up for the maze so that all 23 of the north/south Silver Pyramidz were visible at once. But it is really nasty in the default 640 X 480 pixel screen resolution (20 X 15 tilez). Well, on my computer (with Firefox as my browser) and my Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet 3860, it is scaling it down to about 21% of its real size ... and stopped with only the upper left-hand corner of the map (there was no option to print at 100%). Changing a few optionz, I was able to get a printout of the upper left-had corner (only) at 100%. I suppose if I moved the displayed part of the map in the Firefox window, it might actually printe the entire map ... eventually. Everything worked so much better on Windows XP (Home Edition) than it does on this Windows Vista Home Premium Edition.

I finish this level, but I lost one coinz There is one CupCake that must be broken at least three timez before it yieldz up a Coin. That could well be it. There is also a Hole that requirez filling and digging up again to acquire the Coin.

I am stuck at one part of the level.
It's involving the puzzle with red pyramids, black switches and a rolling ball.
The problem is I can't touch the second switch before the rolling ball hits the pyramid.
It would be a lot easier if that coin wasn't there, but since it is there it's nearly impossible to hit the second black switch before the rolling rock hits the pyramid.
Can somebody help me out here? I have no clue what to do.

It has been yearz since I last played this CL, but it seemz to me that the trick is to forget about the Coin until you operate all of the Black One-Time Switchez ... then go back and get the Coin. It is also possible that you can use two Gruntz ... if there are two that can get into the Red Pyramidz area. Wasn't there a walk-through that explained how to get through that area? I will check that next ... after lunch.

I suppose I could use the walkthrough. But the thing is I wanna avoid the walkthrough as much as possible since I wanna figure things out on my own.
The only times I use a walkthrough is when I'm stuck, which I am so I will try going to that part of the walkthrough and not try to read too far.
Alright, I'll try avoiding the coin.

Well, there isn't any description at all for the Red Pyrmaidz maze ... and I do not have time to start this CL from the beginning and work my way to that sub-puzzle. I am surprised that Paul didn't provide a route for solving the mini-puzzle ... it is not trivial, as I recall.
