south to the pumpkin Noticed that....so how do I get there? it's all with the wingz power... after you put 3 gruntz on the PPz wingz activate a RW so you warp him to the lollipopz field and step on that switch to raise the bridge tile with the 'P' on it...

Mandew, I can't get the PPz down where the red warps are. The CPP comez down but not the other ones. I've tried to get the first 12 PPz to all be down or up at same time but one is always either up or down opposite the others. Got the coinz and gauntletz behind the IPz and sent one gruntz thru a warp to another area. Don't know what to do next.

When you trigger the checkpoint, 4 red warpz are activated. Send spyz through the wormhole in the lowered CPz. Return to the other 3 gruntz ASAP. All of them need to survive (it might also be easier if they had as much health as possible). It is possible to get one of the enemy shovelz killed by the bombz, this part is quite luck oriented .

Yes, I've done all that but how do you get the other 3 gruntz anywhere? They can't get to the red warps because the PPz are not lowered and there's nowhere for them to go. So... back to the original question: How do you get the PPz down?
PS: You know the puple switch that has to be dug up? I've stepped on that and it only lowers the first set of PPz.

Gaby, have I ever mentioned that I just adore you to pieces? WooHoo. Argh!!!! There is one gruntz that I can't get across the stepping stonez and peanut butter cupz. On the right side (facing the screen) of the stepping blockz is a vertical row of 6 unfolding/folding cupz. Can a gruntz actually make it thru that to safety? I have tried and tried again and again and over and over repeatedly and once more. Hair pulling time.

The three bridgez are fit for a certain speed, and that is the different speedz of the different gruntz. In summary, There are four Gruntz "Speed Setting Toolz" Cathegories. From the speediest to the slowest: - Bomb Run (200 milisecondz per tile, so 5 tilez per Second)
- Spy Gear Walk (500 milisecondz per tile, so 2 tilez per second)
- Normal (The good old 600 milisecondz per tile, so 1 1/3 tilez per second)
- The Slooooooow Walk: (Warpstone, Spring and Death Touch; 800 ms per tile, so 1 1/5 tilez per sec.)
All you have to remember is which is faster then the other when you play a level. The speedz between () are used by designerz to be accurate when they desing a tough timing puzzle. So you'll have to notice which bridge is to be faster to cross then another, then send the "Matching" Grunt here. Oh, and one more thing: One click is usually enough to send him trough, you'll just have to click at the rigth time, at the rigth place .

Well, I'll be! Wow, you can change the speed that a gruntz usually moves? Am I reading that right? That's like the beginning of this game where you had to click on the action box to use the spy gear whereas before a player could use it without doing that. This is a very tricky game. I like it but it's hard for me since I'm not a designer and don't know that I can try out these things when I'm stuck. Good work Mandew. Thank you for your help. I'd still be stuck but every gruntz made it across now. Yippee.

"you can change the gruntz speed by giving him the right tool..." LOL See, Gaby, it's like this... I play with my eyes closed. I'd be really good at this game if I opened them. I truly did not realize the above. So you're saying it'z the toolz that changez the speed, not that the designer can assign different speedz? Umm, learning stuff here. I'm going to print up Mandew'z post and keep it on hand. That should really help out. Of course I knew that a gruntz carrying the warpstone got slower and the spring gruntz was slow but those are the obviouz ones. Crossing the bridge was a bummer until he told me about the others. Then it was so easy because my timing was perfect from all the practice. Back to the game now. Gotta figure out how to break cupcakes around the king's palace. I used the gauntlet grunt to break a cupcake on the bridge and now he has boxing gloves. Phooey! Think I made a mistake somewhere. But going to think it out in a bit I hope.

Those cupcakes are only deco, there's nothing underneat them, so no need to break them. You can't really decide the speed your grunt move... In fact, the tool they pick up will adjust it automatically. Designers just Adapt the puzzlez for that tool PS: I truly did not realize the above. So you're saying it'z the toolz that changez the speed, not that the designer can assign different speedz? Umm, learning stuff here. I'm going to print up Mandew'z post and keep it on hand. What those sayingz could mean by this is that it is totally useless to learn stuff if you can't understand them. That only makez you feel stupid . Because, you should know the difference between "learning" and "understanding", like the one between "hearing" and "listening", or "seeing" and "looking".

If one them steps off the switch, the others pyramid rises up.... It's a Secret (four of them, actually). Your Gruntz should have Gauntletz, Shovel, Spy Gear and a Scroll ... one of them is the key to the solution of your problem.

This is another Gruntz Custom Level without a Statz Page image ... and consequently no Statz info: we can post in the original thread.
Would someone please (re-)play this CL, (preferably make a (ordered) list of the actual Toolz/Toyz/Powerupz acquired) and do a screen grab of the Statz Page showing a "PERFECT!" result? Send the JPEG attachment in e-mail with any other data to GooRoo@marinersmvp.com.

I am playing this CL with the goal of capturing a Statz Page image, so that I can update the information for this CL. I probably used a very different method than the Designer intended for one area ... which worked fine for me, but am stuck a bit further on. I left Gauntletz and Shovel on the lowered CheckPoint Pyramidz , and set Spy at the lower right-hand corner below the four CheckPoint Switchez . Then I moved Scroll Grunt onto his CheckPoint Switch to trigger the four Red Warpz ... and had him dodge the enemy Suicide Bomber Gruntz , while Gauntletz and Shovel ganged up on one Shovel Grunt , then joined Spy in battling the other enemy Shovel Grunt . THEN I satisfied the CheckPoint Switchez . With no enemy Gruntz causing trouble, it was simple to proceed from there. But now I am stuck after the Green Warp with one Grunt with a (seeming) never-ending Touch of Death Powerup, without a clue as to who goez where and does what.

As usual, I am playing with but a single SAVE slot. I have very carefully left each enemy Grunt in its own Goo Puddle , just in case a GooberStraw becomez available ... but I don't think that is going to happen ... and doubt any GooberStraw Grunt would be able to return to where there is something to suck up. Rest assured that (if I am able to bring the Warpstone Piece to the King) my time will be very sloooooow, because I am breaking everything that can be broken, and filling in/digging up every Hole/Mound (assuming a 'Magic Shovel'). And I am not at all confident that I will even manage to acquire all the prizez! Once I manage to do a screen grab of the Statz Page, I then will decide if it is necessary to go back to achieve a " PERFECT!" score.

No need to Statz Page image changed to a link by GooRoo. If Tomalla deletez the image, he can change this, removing the link.
