The only duties I would be any good at is the editor ones. I know you other gruntzers are great at helping others with other levels and I am not, so I will leave those to you if I may I would also like to be given permission (by you, not as a "techno thing") to update the news header. I also have begun to post fun links in the Gruntz Forum, but be aware that I won't (and I hope others don't either) post the actual link here.

In mere minutes, you will be listed as Moderator of the GLE Forumz ... your contributions certainly deserve that post. If you have had time to read my posts in various Forumz (URLs, that is) you know what my desire is ... you just need to PM me with a log-in to be used as 'adminuser', and I will set you up that way. You and IdleAl are my desired 'insurance policies' ... people who would be entrusted with the 'admin' password if I am out of the picture for any length of time. (Either my daughter or my wife will give both of you the password if a need arises.)

Here is a list of the original invitees ("Gruntz' Message Board"): ===Acid X==Bea X==Dustab X==FriedGruntzaholic X==Gamer X==Gman X==GooRoo X==Grey Grunt X==IdleAl ===Paul ===Raven X==RivenFireMarble X==Sovek ===XRain ===lovethegruntz and here are those who asked to join (post "Gruntz' Message Board"): X==Brenda X==Jean X==OneStar X==Teri X==silverlady X==yourin X = On board! There are at least as many 'Gruntz Fanz' who never registered for either board yet to be brought aboard here. How do we drag them over from the Monolith Gruntz Forum? (Maybe they won't come until that Forum support is discontinued.)

or maybe "they" won't come because "they" weren't invited. Well, gang, it looks like we will just have to remedy that! I thought that just about everybody who had an interest in a new Gruntz Forum responded to the first invitation to the "Gruntz' Message Board", and everyone else was apathetic. So when I started this one, I only specifically invited those who responded to the first invitation, letting them know of the alternative. Granted, the open publication of the URL on the Monolith Gruntz Forum was only made yesterday, so not everyone has seen the 'invitation to register' ... yet. I feel that doing more than I have already done is too much like one individual's SPAMming. (To some, I probably have already done too much advertising of a new site.)

Not in my opinion you havnt. Advising people there is a new site when Monolith stops supporting the forum to another alternative is not spamming, nor is updating them on developements.

or maybe "they" won't come because "they" weren't invited. I wonder how many others I missed amongst those who were regulars on the Monolith Productions, Inc. Gruntz Forum? I was a relative newcomer there, so quite likely missed a number of the original active members. I know that I have been "hit and miss" myself on occasions ... away for differing lengths of time doing non-Gruntz thingz. Perhaps some of the 'regulars' were doing other things when the word came down that the MPI Gruntz Forum domain was going to be dropped; were not on Mad Lady's address list; consequently they were not on my address list when I began the distribution ministry. Since the December 10, 2003 "invitation list" was posted, Acid and Paul (on the list) have joined, and just recently mommabird (not on the list ) has become a member here. Question for the long-time (1999 and 2000, etc.) Gruntzerz: Can you provide names (handles) and contact information for Gruntzerz who have not registered here, but should be?Keeping in mind that some (as Guenter, for example) no longer have the same e-mail account that had been in use while posting at MPI. If you can only provide the posting names of more Gruntzerz, we may be able to locate (some of) them, and let them know about this Forum.
