This battle is harder than I thought. There must be a stradegy here that I am not using correctly. I have tried to send one barehanded grunt with a spell close enough to use it, but he getz hammered before he has a chance. I have tried stepping one weaponed grunt close enough but there are alwayz more enemies than he can handle at one time and he getz hammered... What is the best way to get all my gruntz into the best possible locationz for the best possible outcome?

One Grunt approaches no more than two enemy Sword Gruntz, and runz back to his buddies and they all gang up on the Sword Grunt. Try to get just one Sword Grunt at a time to chase you. Rotate the 'bait' Grunt, so that no Grunt takez more than one hit from a 'butter knife'. That process, done to perfection, will have you turning eight of the twelve Sword Gruntz into Goo Puddlez (that you suck up as soon as possible, so that two Sword Gruntz don't turn into Goo in the same place, leaving just one Goo Puddle.

Is there an enemy Sword Grunt standing guard a little bit south of that "?" Switch? If so, get rid of him! (See my reply to the quoted WalkingBear message above ... Use the Force, Luke!)

I already got rid of that grunt and fread the gruntletz from the island... the question was how to get the coinz after one of the gruntz is activating the secret... the springz must go back into the quicksand ...

Enter the Quicksand at the central part of the northern 'shore', thence down to the stairwell ... you can place Springz down there any time, just waiting for the "?" Switch to be activated.

Except for 'Health' (and possibly 'Resurrection'), there is no reason to use any of the Spellz. 'Health' is green, and 'Resurrection' is orange.

Thanks for reminding me... but still - springz is sinking in the quicksand and cannot reach the stairz... no matter what... no matter what path he takes... is there a trick of some kind ...

IF you put the springz on the tile nearest the coinz and "P" in the quicksand pool, then have someone else step on the Secret ? Switch, a stairway will open up to that area...don't linger, and you'll have time to collect them all...then spring back over and join your friends...it took me a while to get this one too...

I gave up...battlez are not my cup of tea (I prefer coffe)... it seemz to be a very bloody (much goo) battle...

Don't give up yet! You are almost done! The secret here is to lure one enemy grunt at a time...from the NORTH, just step out one tile at a time until one enemy goes NORTH, and clobber him, SAVE after every one....when you have killed a couple, send the strawz up to clean up the mess, if you don't, then the newly killed gruntz will die on top of the old goo and you won't have enough to bake three new ones,....when you have killed 6 enemies, send your HEALTH grunt (with the health spell) around the edge to where they are...(I sent my 4 grunts that were on the lower left hand side, one by one, to the north to help out) and restore everybody to full health, then kill the last 6... Make three new gruntz, and step on all the purple switchez...send someone around to get the warpstone and you've got a PERFECT!!! Just take your time....only one grunt at a time...if two come up, then go back to the last SAVE and start over...this is totally doable...I'll be looking forward to your PERFECT! score! GOOD LUCK!

got this level with a perfect, though i had to save it in 2 files........at the point where i was trying to get the "A".....got frustrated, and finished it without the A , and later went back and finished it.....the trickiest part was the final battle. luring out just ONE enemy was very tricky especially for the tribe in the north. i finally thought of using the freeze spell to stop MOST of the enemies and started using the north group...again SAVE-ing the game like a little baby IS your friend!....and lol....i used the toy spell just to "reward" my tribes AFTER warpstone was out of the purple pyramids......this really was an enjoyable level ....once i worked all the "kinks" out. ( of course kinks translate to mean those things i didnt see, at first)
