The gruntz are a team and don't split up until they have absolutely no choice. Does that help?

Wow, you're doing well. If you are going to the very last section (using the last four blue warps in the Stargate), you are right except for one thing. Why do you still have wingz? Perhapz you missed something, or did you just misspeak?

GooRoo, I tried to post this in "BETA Custom Levels, but no can do. This will be OK though. I'm just a little confused about your post on HTML. (Forgive me, but I told you I am really ignorant about computer language, etc., although I'm learning fast.) In the Custom levels section, I'm assuming you're saying to make individual documents about each topic and save it as *.html instead of *.doc. Am I right?

Wingz should have gotten a new tool in section 5. Did you do that?

If there are no more blue warps, then you are right. You just did it in a different order than I did, but that's all right. You're almost home.

GooRoo, I tried to post this in "BETA Custom Levels, but no can do. That's because the BETA thread was moved to this location, and the placeholder is locked against further posting. On risk of telling you (or anyone else) something already well known, it is Hyper Text Markup Language ... a set of rulez for constructing documentz meant to be displayed as the reader wantz to view them, instead of in a strictly linear fashion. So there are keyword linkz within one component that will whisk the reader away to another component (for clarification ... 'Help' files, or for additional information on a topic). By constructing different memberz, the main document (walkthrough) does not reveal anything that the reader might not necessarily want to see (spoilerz) until other effortz have failed to achieve the desired result. So there is a link to "Stargate sequence" (keyword, part of a sentence) that will cause the graphic to be displayed should the reader click on the link. Correct, yet a bit incomplete. *.doc signifiez a Microsoft Word (compatible) document, while the *.html claimz to follow the HTML rules, so merely naming a file as *.html would be inaccurate. Better would be a file created by a program such as NotePad, as plain text: *.txt. You see, Microsoft Word putz in itz own control sequencez (not HTML), so a program is required that is capable of stripping off the MS Word controlz and (usually) translate them into valid HTML equivalentz. The program I use, 1 st Page 2000, is capable of such translation, so I have no problem with MS Word filez. 1 st Page can probably handle filez from most of the major word processing programz, but perhapz there are some such programz that are not translated properly. If someone is using a program from a minor supplier (that does not guarantee compatibility with such-and-such a major program), it would be better to create the filez with NotePad ... plain jane that it is, it is easy to work with itz output.

I'm most familiar with Corel, and am learning MS Word (which I don't really like), but I will give NotePad a try. As far as I can see, there is no need for anything but plain jane. What about the screenshots? Do you save them into NotePad also? Or can I use them right from Paint?

Hooray! MAZLTOV! (Did I use this word in the right context?) Now you can be the official answerer of questions. Again. This seems to be a good job for you.

I'm most familiar with Corel, and am learning MS Word (which I don't really like), but I will give NotePad a try. As I tried to say, MS Word is acceptable, because 1 st Page will convert it almost 100%. My concern is if someone triez to submit something using SpeedyWriter (made up name) which my program doesn't understand, in order to convert it to HTML. True, but if someone has a true HTML editor, that may be used to create the HTML components. I just paste them into Paint, and do a "SAVE as ..." specifying JPEG as the format. Imagez should be in the Custom Level folder along with the Index and Walkthrough documentz. For my own CLz, I use standard namez for the various componentz: - About (.html)
- Index
- Toolz
- Toyz
- Powerupz
- Secretz
- Warp letterz
- et cetera
so that I can copy any Index.html document from one CL folder into another (and all of the other memberz used in the new CL) and have a skeleton member that I can modify to make it correct for the new CL. (Lazy me. )

I just need to resolve some backward linkz and the walkthrough will be ready to be 'proofed' by oldone, and (when accepted) released. She made the walkthrough as if describing the Gruntzy version of "Stargate: SG-1", and I had fun carrying on the theme in converting everything into HTML. (Somehow, I still missed one Coin in the inventory listing of where they may be found! So I will need to re-play the CL, checking off the Coinz from my hard-copy of the inventory as I go, to fill in the missing Coin where it belongz. )

Where can I download this level to try it? It is available by clicking on the download link in the original post in this thread. BTW, it is now the version with a few minor changez ... they do not affect game play, as they are merely correcting some CoveredPowerupz (originally intended to be Coinz) so that they now contain Zap Cola. So it is not necessary to download it to replace the version Gruntz Fanz received via e-mail as attachmentz ... or the one you downloaded from here earlier. The walkthrough is unaffected whichever version you are playing. (The version available today is dated today (September 6, 2005), if you have any doubt about which version you have.)
