To get pass this scection, make it easy on yourself and don't opt for the tight timing! (I thought it couldn't be done using timing, but apparently it was done.)
First, stick the rolling ball so that it's rolling over the green switch Then, stick one grunt between the black switch and the red switch. Send another grunt to the black switch without moving the already positioned grunt out of the way! Right after that, send a grunt (at the right time) to the yellow arrow so it will step on the yellow switch (and let the ball loose)
NOTE: Due to a bug in the game engine, the grunt walks slightly faster than the ball, so if you let the grunt walk around a while, your timing will be messed up!

(What should have happened by sending that second grunt to the black switch is you have a grunt triggering the red switch at a rate without you having to tell it to do so every time.)
You can now send the other grunt to the second yellow switch (in the corner) by cutting corners and managing where he walks.

that's the "salta, salta, salta" method Gamer mentiond before... I did it slightly in another way... ... take Gamers advice that's the easy way...

I don't get it....could you please be a little more specific? I don't get what you mean about sending one grunt to the BOTS with another one out of the way? I already stepped on the BOTS and the green toggle switch...did I mess up?

I don't think it will matter if they are pressed, but I didn't try it that way (since it's more work)
You should have three gruntz. Put one on the tile directly below the one switch. Then put one close to the two-way arrows. Make sure the rolling ball is rolling over the green switch, and then send your remaining grunt underneath the left die, to the left of your other grunt. Click on the one switch with the grunt under the die selected. He will pace around at a speed slightly faster than the rolling ball, but, if timed right, for the first few seconds, it will be right at speed with the rolling ball. Then you don't have to worry about switching the red switch; your grunt that's pacing around will do it for you. Soon after you send the pacing grunt into motion, let the ball loose by having the third grunt (the one placed by the two-directional arrows) step on the arrows and onto the yellow switch. Bring him manually to the second yellow switch in the corner and the rock will be able to continue on its path.

you'll see... it's a beauty... you'll be surprised... ... don't forget... the GPz that's in the area to the right must be lowered to let the R8-B pass... P.S: Gamer- you must put this tip in the 'tipz and trickz' topic and the ctrl+# too...

Sure wish I'd thought of that trick when I solved this level.

me too... ... with that trick timing isn't tight at all and you have to work with only one grunt ...

I did have to go back to a previous save. If you step on the BOTS beforehand, the grunt does not recognize it as a destination tile and headz directly for the hole. Got through that bit....and now two of my gruntz are stranded on the PMGS'z....the third one walkz down, but has no toolz to do anything with.....a shovel would be nice for those holez....or some springz maybe? Any cluez floating around out there in cyber Grunt Land?

Well, I have tried to get the two invisibility powerupz to get by those swordz, but it doesn't last long enough to get across the bridge...did I miss something somehow? If I use the death powerup on the four barehanded gruntz, there are not enough crumble tilez to go get the straw and suck the goo and get back again.... Sure could use some here!

You need to choose your path to the 4 barehanded enemy grunts wisely. There is a way to turn them to goo, get the gooberstraw, suck up the goo and return without crossing paths with the swordz.

I think they're just decoyz... they are good for nothing... there is a tile you can use to go from the upper room to the lower room... use the crumble tilez wisely...

I use powerups and toys (like in Jackson Hole) when coins wouldn't be as good. Personally I thought the spot in the toggle maze is deserving of a powerup instead of a coin. It's a similar value, you need both to get a perfect score.

... you missunderstood me... I did not mean they should not to be collected... I meant that they serve nothing (except pointz) for the solution ... [img src=https://gooroosgruntz.info/emoticons/wave.gif[]

Both secrets are in the same spot, somewhere in the top left area. Usually a secret warp trigger is hidden in a dead end area or somewhere strange... In a related note, most of the things repeat in this level, but not everything...
The secret switch evidently isn't in plain view (and no mention of an unconventional secret switch in the level notes) so you must have to change the tile state of one of the tiles (by busting it open or digging it up). It's not in the 4 holes you can fill up, so it must be under a rock.

it's under the unreached dice... the only way to activate it is to get there and break it... [img src=https://gooroosgruntz.info/emoticons/wave.gif[]

Man, this one needs a walkthrough. I had trouble from the very beginning. The orange pyramids tooks me hours to figure out and then I had a terrible time getting through the section with the three converted gruntz. ( another couple of hours there). I finally saw the ending so I cheated my way through. I couldn't figure out the secret switch though. It didn't seem to make much sense, and I missed the red warp. Get me outta here! Hard, hard, hard, but maybe it's just me.
