Any chance that the WT is ready yet? I'm ready to tackle that first 8ball maze again (gasp)! I found the walkthrough, and am printing it out (and checking it out) tonight or tomorrow. Barring something totally unforeseen, it should be linked in by about this time tomorrow. (9:45PM Pacific Daylight Savings Time)

Thanks, GooRoo, for modifying the game. It's so frustrating not to be able to do the things that you know you should be able to. Gotta try that toggling bridge to the coin. Maybe I'll get it now.

I DL the modified version... still the toggling bridge to the coin is impossible to cross...

Difficult, but not impossible! I found getting back to be harder than getting across to the Coin. I don't know why that is, since the timing is symmetrical, but I kept dying on the third toggling bridge tile on the way back. Keep trying ... I know you can do it!

thanks for the encouragement and support... I'll keep on trying if you say it's a matter of timing...

except for that one coin I got every thing right and gave the warpstone to the King... ... you can get to the coin but not back... it's because there are dual number of tilez... so... the starting tile is missing... ...

All of the Tilez should be there, including the one at the east end ... unless you did something with the other Grunt to toggle it!

sorry... my comment was not well explained... ... it was about the toggle tilez not about the solid onez... the east toggle tile is there to start the way to the coin... but not the west toggle tile to begin with the way back... it's because there are dual toggle tilez ... that's why we keep falling as soon as we get to the tired tile...

Crossing that bridge (in either direction) requirez anticipation ... a bit more going back than coming across in the first place, in my own experience. One standz on the Switched Tile where the Coin was, and anticipatez when the adjacent toggling bridge tile will come up again; and anticipatez when the next tile (and the next, etc.) will come up, stepping out in faith that the tile will be there when you land.

bottom line... it's possible... if the solver anticipatez the correct timing... ... thank you... I'll keep trying...

Thank you so much, GooRoo, for modifying this game. After all, who wants to play a game that you can't win (especially after going through those rolling balls). I had the same trouble you did with the coin and the toggling bridge, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Definitely doable. In the future, I won't hesitate to play this one again.

I tried to download the updated version, but it seems to be a text file and a page opened up with all garbled up characters. Is the link to saving file correct?

I just clicked on " modified version, and was rewarded with the "open/save/cancel" dialog box ... so at least the link is correct. Then I clicked on "open", and the Gruntz Level Editor program was invoked to display the map ... and it was fine. I don't know what to tell you ... it works fine, for me.

you need a solid tile under the coin in order to pick up up ... there must be a BTS nearby that raises that tile...
