By the way, which one of the 8-ball puzzles are you talking about. I passed bouth the two first the 2nd or 3rd time i tried.

Are you playing the modified version, or the original version? It really makez a difference to whether you are able to complete it to a "PERFECT!" score, or not.

oh, I see, I was playing in the original version. So that is why i couldn't get the coin.

But i still can't see which puzzle you talk about that is so hard. If it is the one i think it is i know how to time it.

In the #walkthrough#, it says:

Toobz (2) now goes through the silver pyramidz and takez out the four enemy toobz in the triangular pool. You have a choice of fighting each of them (there’s lotz of Zap Cola ... none of it useful, because of where they are placed), or simply luring them to the silver pyramidz and watching them evaporate as you waltz through. Go back one more time for the coin.

Addon to the first: use the spongegun grunt to lower the health slightly (of the enemy of course! ). Your toobz grunt will be red health, but alive, and can get some Zap Cola.

I got that troublesome coin in less than 2 minutes. I don't know what the fuss is all about.

That toggle bridge is a nitemare (EEK!!) to get back across. Tried about 20 times but just falling. the first way across was easy but, oh no, not getting back across.

I know what you mean - it is a very tight timing toggle bridge (I wanted to quit at this point), but if you read GooRoos Reply (#31 on Jul 14, 2005) and try it again (and again) you'll see it's possible...

Thankz for the encouragement Gaby. I had read GooRooz reply but this toggle bridge is crazy. Tried over and over again this morn anyway.... My eyes just can't find the way. I know it hingez on the middle tile but just am not good at this. Maybe come back to this game later. I figured everything else out without any help and it seemz a shame to quit but oh well.

Be sure that you have the amended copy of this game. In the original it was impossible to do the toggle bridge because there was no safe tile to stand on once you got the coin. In the amended version, there should be a safe tile, 4 toggling tiles, a safe tile and a crumble tile with the coin. The timing is exactly the same from safe tile to safe tile no matter which direction you go. Even so it's still difficult. But you can finish the game even without the coin. IMHO it is better to finish than to achieve the perfect.

but I lost a coin, and is the one that this in the area of sponges gun,how that coin is taken,
tries all the angles and it was impossible to me.

There is no secret to that Coin ... it is pure timing!



What makes it difficult is the tiles are separated by 1/2 second ... and the Grunt takes 6/10 of a second per tile. So the solver must anticipate the rise of the first tile in the series ... perfectly.

(I tried it today, and could not get across to the Coin, much less get back after acquiring it! Getting too old for these things, I guess.)
