This level is based around a (running) bomb grunt. In order to complete this level, he must play with several toyz, ranging from a yo-yo to a beach ball. It may include mobile toyz, which immediately break if they have nowhere to go.

Hi, I downloaded your level but couldn't get it to start. When I clicked the level in the list of custom levelz, it took me out of the Gruntz game to Windows with the error message: Unable to set the game state. (1054) I have no idea what that means, but thought you should know

Twiggy if you have the real arcade version of gruntz, you have to make sure you d/load clz to C: My Games/gruntz /custom....not Games/gruntz/custom, or real arcade wont open them. i dont know if that is the problem, but that little word "my" drove me nutz for a few hourz when i first started d/ling clz.

Good level, Alex, I enjoyed it very much and I got the Perfect. Very clever premise.
I only have one complaint. Either use the "magic shovel" or don't. If you're only going to use it on one or two holes, then give us a clue where to look. It was a little frustrating to dig and redig all those holes only to find more holes. But I knew that you would have a coin in one or two of them so I kept digging. Better to find flat ground that another hole.
Keep up the good work. Your levels get better and better. I look forward to the next one.

Kat, I have the Gruntz game with the original CD, not Real Arcade version. Anyway, I tried to load again with the same problem. It starts to load, than goes out of the game and back to Windows with the same error message. I thought that I might have a corrupted copy, so I was going to download it again, but I have the same problem that Gaby has trying to download the level. Oh well, I'll have to wait for another way to get it

that could be it, and i am betting that you and twiggy have patched the cd....i am SO jealous! lol...would love the cd but will have to stay with the real arcade version since that's all i can get, my german isnt good enough to handle GooRoo's German disk.....and i no longer talk to my ex so i couldn't even get him to translate it for me! I am just glad there is a way for me to have this delightful game...and all the wonderful clz that have been put out!

Kat, The german disc is mostly in english. Since you know how to play the game, you wouldn't need to know the german help boxes. Also, once I put Paul's patch on, all the german went to english. I don't understand how that happened but it was all right with me.

I was able to get the download link to work today, so I deleted my first copy of the level and replaced with the new downloaded level, but it still will not load Perhaps, it does have something to do with having the original game with the patch. Will have to wait till GooRoo releases it also

I will be trying this one out myself right after I make this pass around the Forum to see if anything requirez my attention. I expect that I will be reporting back here in the next couple of hourz or so ... either to 'promote' this one to its proper Board, or to say that I had a problem with it, as well. This type of problem is the reason I have been playing CLz myself before distributing them to the Gruntz Fanz, and making them available for download ... to eliminate as much as possible the distribution of puzzlez with some sort of 'fatal flaw' in them, necessitating the re-distribution, after the problem has been corrected. Some of you old-timerz (nothing to do with age, either ) remember a few CLz that were released, only to have some 'fatal flaw' uncovered ... sometimez with multiple distributionz before a final, playable version could be had by all.

I (of course) have the (English language) Gruntz CD-ROM, patched to version 1.01, with the 1024X768 screen resolution registration patch as well. I had no problem at all with loading and playing this CL. I played it through 3 timez (yes, I managed a " PERFECT!" ... but cannot do anything with a screen print to prove it ) in a little less than thirteen and a half minutez. There is a lot of this map that is unreachable, covered with treez, so I give it a 'loose' density rating. Negativez: There are a lot of Holez (or maybe Holez ) with nothing at all in them, and those with 'goodiez' are not notable in any way ... someone already has commented about that.
- SecretTeleporterTrigger "ala Bjarni"
- Question Mark Switch completely obscured and the 'cluez' to its location mostly obscured
Positivez (Inventive usagez): - Invulnerability and Touch Of Death PowerUpz
- SpotLightz
- Bridge crossing
The Bridge crossing would be really neat, if it were necessary to move more than one Grunt across ... but a single Grunt will do the job very nicely. P.S. I fixed the most objectionable partz in the version you may now download from this Forum's web host. (You are still going to have to search for that Question Mark Switch . )
