I figure this question has already been brought up, but who (or what) is "LC"?
The "LC" is from the Training Level 2, in the southwest corner (below the king's fort). Since it is not seen on the normal route, I consider it an "Easter Egg". (By the way Eeggs, eeggs.com, doesn't list it in its database.) Does anyone know what it refers to?
I will have to call up the Gruntz game and scrutinize that training puzzle for myself, because it never registered to me when I first played it ... and I only played them once.
Have you watched the trailer movie (when you complete all of the 'Standard Levelz')? If so, there are credits for all of the people who were responsible for "Gruntz", and you might find an "L---- C----" listed ... question answered .
I'm LOL over that GooRoo! (or maybe I shouldn't...) . Anyway, I didn't realize until after I had posted the first message that I had gotten east and west mixed up, which means that the corner below (or south) of the king's fort is actually in the southeast corner, so another for me. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the Final Movie, though I used to (in trying to solve a display problem, I re-installed the game a couple of times, so I'm pretty much back at the beginning of the game.... don't ask about it right now), but I did manage to play the Credits Movie and I didn't see anybody that fit "LC" (or "CL"). The best I can think of it meaning is either "Custom Levels" backward-abbreviated (meaning that such a function would eventually be possible) or two VIPs on the Gruntz team, Kevin Lambert and Chris Hewett. Isn't there a Kevin on one of the Gruntz forums? (I seem to remember that a Kevin, a Monolith insider, had announced that there was a secret level embedded in the game and that there was a big hunt to see who found it first... Is it the same Kevin??? )
That is the very same Kevin Lambert ... and the Rocky Roadz Stage 1 Secret Level has been found and solved. I am trying to add in the seven Secret Levelz for the other seven graphicz setz, but have not discovered the proper naming convention to get the Gruntz game to load the proper Secret Level when the (cheat) criteria has been satisfied.
