As new Custom Levelz have been designed and released, I have been adding screen shotz of the Statz Page when I have managed a "PERFECT!" score (even when that word does not scroll across the screen, or I do the print screen at a time when the word is 'blinked' OFF). But I noticed that there are a number of older CLz that do not have the Statz Page linked ... brought to my attention when I read WalkingBear's post to my "Springtime In Cloud City" CL. So I would appreciate it if my Gruntzer Fanz would take screen shotz of the Statz Page when they complete a CL that does not have one linked on this Forum, and send it to me either as an e-mail attachment, or linked in a Personal Message to me on this Forum. Do not "ZIP" or otherwise compress such an image, unless you are someone who has been a member of this Gruntzer community for a long time (and are consequently considered to be trusted). I do not open ZIPped attachmentz or pure HTML e-mailz from 'unknown' sourcez ... those get dumped into the trash unopened and unread. Since a typical 600X480 JPEG of the Statz Page is only around 45KB, it is hardly worth the effort to compress it anyway.

Not one Gruntzer has provided any screenshotz of their Statz Pagez for use on this Forum, so I have been going through all of the CLz myself, checking the threadz for the existence of a "Statz Page" link. When I find a CL without one, I launch the Gruntz game and play that CL. I have finished all of the "Rocky Roadz" CLz, and am now working on "Gruntziclez" CLz. (I hit one of Bjarni's monsterz, and got side-tracked into a "Gruntz In Space" CL ... Bomb'z planet, and just couldn't let go of the feeling that this was extreme overkill in the size of the thing. So I reduced it in size to a (still loose) 'Big' map.) If anyone wantz to help out, just post in this thread what Area (as, "Gruntz In Space") that you are doing, so that there is no duplication of effort. And if you run across an 'orphaned' CL that is 'too small' (less than 32X24 Tilez), or overly large and 'loose', mention it in this thread, and I will see about doing an 'upgrade' on it (if you don't want to take it on for yourself).

Well, it seemz that there are a number of tiny, uninteresting CLz in the Gruntziclez area (like Waterworld, Imaginiceon, North to Alaska, et cetera ) that do not have screenshotz of the Statz Page. So I will be off-line for a while (maybe days!) re-playing them to a " PERFECT!" score. I will check in at least three timez a day (early morning, near dinnertime and just before bedtime) to respond to whatever is needed of me. But the rest of my time will be spent in re-solving those monsterz!

Slowly, but surely, I am working my way through Gruntz Custom Levelz, achieving " PERFECT!" scorez, and capturing the Statz Page screen for inclusion with each CL thread. I still welcome Gruntzerz' assistance in this project, because it is rather time-consuming. I am trying to stay on top of the current eventz at the same time ... new CLz, new memberz, significant happeningz (such as our second anniversary of this Forum) and such. Working in solutionz and screen grabz is not my highest priority. And I have an uncanny knack for making my screen grabz when the PERFECT! is blinked OUT! (I sometimez have to try five or six timez before I have some portion of PERFECT! captured on the screen. Then I have to finish the CL from my last SAVE, and try again ... until I get it right.) I am currently going through the "Trouble In The Tropicz" CLz, looking for threadz that do not have a Statz Page screen grab. Once all of those have them, I will move on to "High On Sweetz". (I really hope that "A World Of Sweetz" already has a Statz Page image. It would take me the better part of a day to re-play it to a " PERFECT!" score, and from where I would make my last SAVE would be more than a 'tryout' solve away from the successful ending.)

Well, I don't have any screenshots, but I do want to give you a hand for trying to do this project. I'm sure this is long, tedious, annoying and thankless (OK, maybe not thankless) work and with new custom levels coming out all the time may never really be "done". Good luck with those screenshots and hope nothing disasterous happens. Happy Hanukkah!

I SAVE when the Warpstone Grunt is outside the King's Fortress and clicked on it as a destination. But as I stated earlier, I have an uncanny knack of doing my Prnt Scrn when the " PERFECT!" is blinked off (not in the screen grab), so I have to re-load and try again (usually several timez ) before I get an image that includez " PERFECT!" ... instead of merely having the statz all agreeing. Without that " PERFECT!", it is possible that the CL does not have a WARP letter, and the " PERFECT!" score is not possible to achieve. I have revised several smaller (usually 'tryoutz') CLz to add in a WARP letter (or a SECRET!) so that a " PERFECT!" score is possible.

If you want I could help. Thanks! That is exactly what this thread was all about ... requesting help from Gruntzerz in capturing screen shots of the Statz Page showing a " PERFECT!" result. I would suggest you start with your own CLz, and then go on to the more recently released CLz. Click on the Statz Page link in a thread: - If an image (JPEG) is returned showing a "PERFECT!" result; done.
- If you only get a "page not found" error ... it is a candidate for playing and grabbing the page.
- Due to continuning web hosting problems, you may get an empty image (no error).
That means I stored an image, but it only transferred 1 byte.

I would suggest you start with your own CLz, I only created one, and you (should) have a copy of it to be corrected!

I have a screenshot for 'A Club round the head' completed (first try, PERFECT waz in the blank space where the warp letterz are recognised in standard levelz) If you haven't already done so, send it to me as an attachment in an e-mail. When I am (once again) able to upload it to my web host (as more than just 1 byte ) I will do so, and post that the link actually works.

Gaby has updated the threadz for Custom Levelz, moving the , and Statz Page linkz into the table (with indicatorz whether the linkz truly work, or not!), and making the Designer's name into a link to the index of their Custom Levelz. I just finished checking her work on the "Rocky Roadz" through "High On Sweetz" graphicz setz, uploading those Statz Page imagez I had (but could not upload for a while) and flipping her to as I did so. I will begin work on the "High Rollerz" graphicz set threadz tomorrow evening, and hopefully finish it up by Monday night. What I am now asking Gruntzerz to do, is look for threadz where the indicator showz there is not a screen image of the Statz Page and take on the task of re-playing the CL in order to do a "Print Scrn" and store it as a JPG named "Statz.jpg" and send it to me as an e-mail attachment, with the name of the CL in the "Subject" line of the e-mail. When you accept the task for a CL, also post in that thread that you are working on it, so there is no duplication of effort. Since I am tired of Forum maintenance for the night, I will make an attempt to re-play my own "Cupcakez Galore" from the "High On Sweetz" graphicz set. So I have 'dibs' on that one.

I have a "PERFECT" of DefendyourCastle. Also, can CL titlez finally have spacez in them?

I have a "PERFECT" of DefendyourCastle. Received it a few minutez ago ... will upload it to the web host shortly, hopefully, along with your GunHat image for your Avatar (I presume). On this web host, both spacez and apostrophez are working. I still have the unresolved problem with not being able to download any of the Custom Level WWDz. If that is resolved soon, there is no reason to believe that I will have to move to another web host ... so there should be no restriction with filenamez, as long as they only contain USA ASCII characterz (GoDaddy's file transfer program restriction). Until the download problem is resolved, I will continue to store filenamez without either spacez or apostrophez ... and will make an announcement when that changez.
