Hello! After a one-and-a-half month hiatus, I'm back with a question: Has anyone (Monolith or fan) considered "porting" Gruntz to Macintosh, Linux or a portable console (Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS or PSP)? I think a port to DS (where you could move Gruntz around with the pen) or PSP would be at least worth considering.

I doubt that any of the Gruntz programming team is even still with Monolith, in order to do any 'porting' to other platformz.

What if another software team writes a version of Gruntz, comparing it with the original code for correctness of function? For example, a Macintosh version could be done by the Ambrosia Software team (www.ambrosiasw.com). If you (or anyone reading this post) has ever been a Mac gamer, you ought to know that Ambrosia is one of the formost Mac game designers (their credits include Barrack, Maelstrom, Apeiron and the Escape Velocity series of games). How do I know this stuff? I used to play those games myself!
