I would like to have " GooRoo's" done in the animated Goo Puddlez; and the "Gruntz TM" captured out of the image (such as this Forum's main page background) and smoothed along the bottom edge similar to the top edge of the green bubbled background to the word. I still have not managed to recover the programs 'bundled' with Internet Explorer 6 (Paint, FreeCell, Hearts, etc.), so cannot do anything about the "Gruntz TM" part of this request. And I am hopeless with animated GIFs ... unless they are truly GIFs that I may simply place. Since the Gruntz TM Goo puddlez are in a proprietary format embedded within the rez file, and I do not have any program capable of taking in that format and converting it into standard animated GIF format, I am stuck on " GooRoo's" as well. Even if I knew a program capable of doing the conversion, I doubt that I could afford to purchase it (I am retired, you know ... and on a (small!) fixed income).   So if there is a Gruntzer with both the program and the ability (to say nothing of the available time) to create these componentz, I can really use the help. I can handle the placement of several copiez of the Goo puddlez to create "GooRoo's", but I need that single animated GIF to use in the construction. |

My friend does animated GIFs, so I could get him to help you. I'm not sure aboit the conversion part though. About the IE6 programs, these are simply recoverable from Add/Remove Programs. Just click on Add/Remove Windows Components. Click Accessories and Utilities, then click Accessories again. |

It spinz its wheelz a lot, and claimz that it has installed Internet Explorer 6, but IE6 refusez to start up.  And there was no opportunity under the IE6 install to re-install FreeCell, Hearts and Paint ... I will see if another option will do that ... not very critical anyway, for those.  |

I'll get the goo puddlez GIF right now. Do you mind if it's tranzparent in the backround, cuz I do that a lot. EDIT: Finished! I prefer it with a transparent background! (But didn't think to specify that ... or color.) How difficult would it be to have that in Red? (I have this one SAVEd as OrangeGooPuddle.gif ... thanks!) |

Can I have a goo puddle for my avatar? I can certainly upload them to my web host, and make them available for use as avatarz ... but you should check with TurkeySandwich about that ... and color selection. |

That'll help you with the avatars changing. I had no problem accessing the avatar maintenance area ... but each attempt to add one of the Goo puddlez resulted in an error message something like "goored deleted because it was invalid". I will have to spend considerably more time to locate the way to add an avatar and to provide the URL of the image to be displayed. That will have to wait until after dinner ... and the Seattle Mariners' baseball game. |

How did you capture the Goo Puddle image so well? Or did you (re-)create it from scratch? It's a secret... By taking loadz of screenshots, hoping that I would get all of the three different imagez. Then, I copied and pasted into The GIMP, which is a program very good at making various thingz. I used the transparency toolz to find the edges. (Using several other color puddlez for a transparency reference.) |
