Somebody else I was talking to said they had/created another drive that they told the game was their CD drive. Then they copied the CD to that drive and could play it that way. I wish I remembered who...

If someone is interested, I play Gruntz "almost" without CD : I made an image of my CD with a program called Alcohol 120%, and I play with this image in a virtual CD reader. It works ! isnt that illegal

It isn't illegal : I own the regular CD of Gruntz and I use only a private copy as a backup. I don't see why a backup copy should be authorized on a CD and forbidden on a hard drive !
