Hi everoyne, I have a problem with High Rollerz stage 2 (I've always wanted to be a welder). I'm stuck at the very beginning. I get rid off the sword-wielding Grunt, pick up gloves and can't do anything more. I'm guessing that I'm supposed to push that 2 Grunts with shields into the holes, but hatches are closed! Is it a bug? Or is there some way to open them? Thanks for the help.

They will open in a few seconds. Are they permanently closed? They aren't supposed to... as a Static Hazard, they should open and you push the Shield enemies into them! It looks odd. Something must be wrong with the level file. But I'm unsure how to fix it. Haven't you ever seen one of those open? In the first High Rollerz stage?

That's the thing. They're permanently closed. I remember now that all the traps of that type didn't work in previous levels either- geysers in Truoble In The Tropicz levels, candles in the High On Sweetz. But I could complete levels anyway so I didn't noticed it. I own an original copy of the game for 6 years (or maybe even more) and I remember playing it on my old PC with Win98- it worked just fine. Could Win XP be the problem? Or high-end PC?

That is because of "easy mode" - you can switch that off under options. Easy mode means that there are no static hazardz, RR'z move slower (I think they all get the standard speed) and advanced hazardz are slowed too. It IS possible to get past this part (actually you should be able to finish every single standard level) while in easy mode, but you may have to take quite a bit of damage.

If you can push the shieldz away and be able to get past by them in the diagonalz, then surely. Whoa, Easy mode is a bit... too easy!
