I just realized why threadz are so slooooooow to load ... the problem is my custom avatarz!
So I am going to select another 'standard' avatar image for myself to use until I have a workable web host ... one that allowz me to set the pathz to all of the filez used here. (What is called "hot linking" ... and most hostz consider a no-no, which is why we don't have custom smiliez, background imagez, gradientz, etc.)
If everyone who is using a custom avatar that was hosted by Neron Hosting would likewise choose one of the 'standard' avatarz, reading postz would speed up mightily.

I have since edited my profile to remove the image, and hopefully give the speed a little more oomph.
