Sorry, I have to delete your post and the linkz in it. I cannot take the chance that the filez (no file extensionz are present) are innocent.
Please do not post linkz without file extensionz, and only those that are known to be non-executable are allowed. In truth, only Gruntz Custom Levelz (*.wwd) filez should be made available as linkz. I am trying to resolve the web hosting problemz, and once that is done, everything (including walkthroughz) should be freely available ... until then, even walktrhough linkz should be avoided. Filez that are normally available for download are (in the interim) distributed via e-mail, at the request of Gruntzerz.

Are you accusing me of posting links to viruses/malicious software? All they were were links to a page with an embedded Windows Media Player that plays the MP3 file(the song).

Are you accusing me of posting links to viruses/malicious software? All they were were links to a page with an embedded Windows Media Player that plays the MP3 file(the song). I did not accuse you of anything ... I just stated that without my personal verification of the linkz, I could not allow them to be on the Forum. I have downloaded 'music' that turned out to contain embedded linkz to a porn site ... that linked to several other porn sitez. I had about a dozen windowz opened to those thingz before I was able to slap them out of the computer. And I had to remove over a dozen 'cookiez' that those linkz stored on my hard drive. So "better safe, than sorry". I removed the post since I could not (due to time constraintz) verify that the linkz were safe. An *.mp3 I know is not executable, and I have never found any that someone has managed to embed malicious code/linkz into ... but with no file extension, that could be anything at all. I believe it was a *.wma file that caused me the trouble ... anyway (whatever it was) that file extension is now blocked on my computer, via the firewall. Edit: P.S. many of those porn sitez that were opened via the playing of the music file captured my e-mail address, and I received all sortz of porno e-mailz for monthz afterward. I would not wish that on anyone ... certainly not my Gruntzerz!!!

I don't link to porn, okay? Porn is stupid.
FYI: This is the first ever forum I have been to that deleted my links just because they didn't have an extension.

I'm registered to 15 different forums and all of them allow links that don't show an extrension, and 5 of them are forums from companies such as Bungie Studios.

Okies never mind, I found a website that has links with .mp3 extensions. Is that okay? (By the way, I've been waiting out till the site looked all cool like it does now to post)

Okies never mind, I found a website that has links with .mp3 extensions. Is that okay? (By the way, I've been waiting out till the site looked all cool like it does now to post) This Forum is not yet recovered to what it once was ... before Neron Hosting suddenly went out of business. For one thing, there used to be different background imagez that were displayed for each of the eight different graphicz areaz ... different in 'Standard' than in 'Custom' as well! And the BETA Board would display recent submission 'teaserz' as often as I could take the time to do screen grabz, and upload them to the web host, and then link them into the Board background. There was also the sound of a Wormhole opening when a visitor entered one of the Gruntz graphicz areaz. (I have the sound ... just haven't added the link to the various scriptz ... and may not do so at all.) I am also still looking for a 'texture' for the dark green text area (as this post) background, but have not found anything suitable (and really am not even searching for one at this time ... the GLEM project is on the 'front burner'.) I have tried (unsuccessfully) to re-add the drop-down menu for additional smiliez. Perhapz the script belongz in a different place than I have tried, so far ... or perhapz ProBoards Version 4 introduced an error in the script, and I need to locate a replacement script to do the job. This is also taking a 'back burner' to the GLEM project. (Now how did I ever get anything accomplished (for myself) when I was working 40+ hourz a week, to earn a living?)

I think what happens is whatever hosting site you use does things you don't intend. So I think GooRoo is saying the rule exists to protect people from themselves. It's not intended at any specific person.
