There is an (<-- link!) version of the Gruntz Level Editor Manual, which replacez all of the Boardz and/or Threadz on this Forum. (After spending a couple of dayz trying to update the Forum's Index to replace linkz, I decided the effort was not worth it, and decided to simply force the use of the HTML on-line GLEM.)

I have finally gotten around to migrating the Gruntz Level Editor Manual away from this ProBoards Forum, replacing it with pure HTML. No more dual maintenance (in two different scripting languagez!) of the GLEM! P.S. Everything I have in support of Gruntz is (or will be!) available on the Gruntz Extraz CD-ROM.

The description of stairwayz (tilez 270 through 281) has been extensively updated. I discovered its deficienciez when I was working on a small write-up concerning " NotWithoutMyWings"/" NotWithoutOurWingz" and diverted myself (as I frequently do ) from one project to take on another task. (I also wanted to demonstrate that I continue to learn more about the capabilitiezs of HTML in creating documentation. )

I needed to access the Manual without having the link bookmarked (since I was on a different computer), and I spent several minutes trying to find the link to it, to no avail... only to realize that the link is among those links at the very top of the main forum page. Not to mention this thread, which was kinda buried among other threads. I'm going to bump this thread so that it's harder to miss.

I made some minor changes in the Index, adding a bit of 'color' to the Appendices. The rest of the Index does not lend itself to the same treatment, as many items are already covered under the Appendices, so would be redundant. Since I could not think of any suitable small images for most of the entries, I left them all as-is.

Nice addition! One note though, the image of the Smart Chaser AI doesn't seem to display.

Nice addition! One note though, the image of the Smart Chaser AI doesn't seem to display. Interesting! It displays fine on my computer, but not on-line ... because AISmartChaser does not exist on the web host, but AISmartChaserBarehanded does ... so I changed the link.

While designing my latest Custom Level Quest, I discovered that there was no entry for 'Hazardz' ... so it would be necessary for a new Designer to know the name of the (moving) hazard s/he was looking for. So I created a new member which contains links to the six area hazards that exist. ('Rocky Roadz' and 'Grunticlez' don't have any, except for the always present "Rolling Rockz".)
As a side project caused by my 'Hazardz' project, I updated the 'Static Hazardz' element, as well.
Since it was a new element, the overall Index was also updated.

I keep hoping for the ability to replace the current GRUNTZ.REZ file with new(?) Tile images where there are duplicates that I have shown can provide more graphical variety, by simply rotating/flipping other Tilez in the set to replace the duplicated Tilez. But I also have hopes that we will be able to create the 31 Secret Levelz provided for in the original 'Standard' Questz. That led me to determine how a SecretLevelTrigger is coded. (See my result.)
So there is one additional entry in the main GLEM Index.
