Gruntz Level Editor is a 471KB ZIPped file, to be extracted into your Gruntz folder. Please note that the GLE menu item (.hlp file) is not supported since Windows Vista. The replacement for it is the on-line HTML Gruntz Level Editor Manual ... the link is only to the index, less than 30KB. But from there you may read about almost everything imaginable about creating a Gruntz Custom Level. I am gradually removing duplicated information from the various topicz, substituting instead a link to the full discussion, as Edit Objects is merely a reference link in the subject Scroll. Important Note: This is a very old program - it was used by the creatorz of Gruntz to design the standard levelz and it takes time to get used to it. Don't be afraid to ask other memberz on the forum for help - everyone had some problems at the beginning!

Please note that the GLE menu item is very old, and the process isn't even supported on Windows Vista ... may not exist even for Windows XP ... and certainly not for anything newer. The replacement for the GLE Help menu item is the on-line HTML Gruntz Level Editor Manual ... the link is only to the index, less than 30KB. But from there you may read about almost everything imaginable about creating a Gruntz Custom Level. Another alternative is to download WinHlp32.exe from Microsoft. Windows 7: www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=91Windows Vista: www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=5143This small utility makes the old 32 bit .hlp files work with Windows Vista and Windows 7. Once installed, you will be able to click on the help in the GLE and the help files will work perfectly. Although the online HTML GLE manual does have some details the GLE Help Menu doesn't have. Note: The GLE Help Menu should still work with Windows XP because that help format was abandoned starting with Windows Vista.
