When i click to a WWD file,it does nothing. While Gruntz is unplayable on this unaltered WIndoze 8 computer I am now forced to use, the Gruntz Level Editor worked fine, for me.
Tell us more about your computer, what you are trying to access via the GLE, etc. Someone may be able to resolve your problem.

We have a slightly different configuration: both my 8 OS and the CPU are 64bit. I really don't see how that should make a difference, though. The GLE is certainly NOT 64bit, since it is 20th century vintage programming.

Start with the basic troubleshooting. Have you tried compatibility modes? You can enable them from the GLE's executable's shortcut.
