I noticed there isn't much discussion going on here anymore. Only a few posts are made every 1-4 months.
I have noticed this with most message boards, most message boards are very inactive, I know why more people talk through discord than on a message board.
So yeah I wanna ask has this place become as dead as other message boards?

I think a more precise answer would be that the forum's become "read-only", as there is a lot of information and resources already available in pinned threads. It doesn't seem like much more can be added.

It doesn't seem like much more can be added. Without new Custom Levelz (Questz) this Forum is definitely 'read-only'! I am still on-line here multiple times each day, and each visit I see other familiar 'handles' are also checking in with me. I have been adding content to threads that only show up if one clicks on a link. Those links open up web files that are updated (by me) when sufficient progress has been made to warrant changes. Some of them are probably only of interest to 'Old Geezerz' (like me), so are not worth posting what is new.
I keep hoping that Discord members will submit some of what they are working on, but it hasn't happened. I downloaded some things, and worked on some of them to make them distributable .... but it seems I "stepped on some toes" by doing that, so ceased my efforts. So I will leave it to the original authors to finish their work and submit them.

I am currently working on a level that is about 80% filled, I just need some new ideas to finish it up. Then I agreed to help with Blaze's map, so that will be coming out eventually as well.

I continue to read this forum every few days. Do not have any discord account yet...

Hi I look every day since this forum exists and played Gruntz when it was released and played it in Win95 and XP. Now I'm too old and my English is bad to respond, understand or write something.

Hi I look every day since this forum exists and played Gruntz when it was released and played it in Win95 and XP. Now I'm too old and my English is bad to respond, understand or write something. Your English is good enough to be understood, and even the grammar (Which is a hassle for those whose PRIMARY language is English!) is easily understood.
As to game play, have you played it on a newer Windows version? The 'young bucks' frequenting this Forum have provided a number of "work arounds" to make it work even under Windows 10. I still play it on my Windows XP laptop ... purchased for just Gruntz at a cost of $99 (United States dollars) plus tax and shipping. There are still a number of sources where a computer running Windows XP can be found.
Edit: (GooRoo) By the way, I am 81 years old, and consider myself capable (except for tight timing issues, requiring finger dexterity) of enjoying the game of Gruntz.

Hi No, I haven't played it in Win 10 and I can play it in my old XP laptop, but it doesn't work anymore - I'm no longer fast enough. I played many levels here made by visitors and members Thanks for that
