Beginning the migration task to a new computer

The fun begins ... as I have to reenter passwords all over the place ... in spite of the fact that both computers share things!

And some of the software products that I own claim that my login ID and password combination are not a match!

Well, I have the 40 days of Lent to resolve things, since I am giving up some of my software projects (along with Dr. Pepper soft drink ... my mainstay) and the reading of Science Fiction in favor of a Devotion series regarding making Lent significant.

I have run into a number of the web sites (that I have registered and paid-for software) that have let their domain expire ... and are now 'parked' with GoDaddy! But I have no access to the contents of the site (to verify my access after migration).

Have any of you Forum members run across anything like this yourselves recently?
