Using Tile (etc.) imagez in postz

The 'root' for all of the Tile imagez displayed on this Forum is:

The colored entriez in the table below are linkz for the Tile setz in:

Within each area folder, the Tilez use the 2 letterz and the three digit Tile number (082, not 82) and the file extension ".jpg"

CaSe may be SiGnIfIcAnT!

So to include the image of Rocky Roadz light-colored background Rock Tile 82, you use[img]http://gooroosgruntz.info/editor/Tilez/1RR/RR082.jpg[/img]and a preview will display . To display a 'common' Tile (such as the Black One-Time Switch ) you may use[img]http://gooroosgruntz.info/editor/Tilez/8GS/GS217.jpg[/img]
Note: In writing walkthroughz using HTML, you may include these imagez by coding:

<img src="http://gooroosgruntz.info/editor/Tilez/8GS/GS217.jpg">

Just change the 8GS/GS217 to the appropriate folder/file name.

Is it possible to create gruntz imagez? I tried to test the idea by copying a gruntz image onto a post, but it makez an asterisk.

Any image needz to be hosted on a web site that is on-line 24 hourz a day, 7 dayz a week. Right now, I am having problemz with my web host ... many of my buttonz no longer display for me, and Gaby has reported that smiliez are missing for her.

When I try to login to my web host (for maintenance) I receive an error message about User ID unknown ...

And I just paid for July through December 2006 hosting! And my e-mail to the support e-mail address was returned "undeliverable"!!!

I got the imagez from my website(they've been cuted from a screesnhot)... and I think I'll put more imagez there, once I'm able to do it!

That image will remain displayable as long as you keep your web hosting current. As soon as the web hosting account is closed, we will only see [image] (the placeholder when the image is not available). This is exactly the problem this Forum has experienced since Neron Hosting went out of business, and my customizationz were no longer available.

BTW, the ProBoards limit for signaturez is 500 pixelz wide by 300 pixelz high. The image (in the post, not in the signature) is larger, about 753 pixelz wide by 324 pixelz high (I didn't write down the exact size from the Properties display). Personally, I think my own signature line is about the limit of acceptability. At any rate, any signature that resultz in the creation of scrollbar(s) in the post area is "a no-no".

This thread has been updated to reflect proper use of the new web host (GoDaddy.com) and my Domain name "gooroosgruntz.info". Notice that Tile imagez are now displayed in the original post.

Also, many Grunt voicez are now available! Besidez those listed with "hear it" in the table, there are 26 more Grunt voicez (that we don't know how to code for inclusion), such as walk all over the map.

All of the Tile imagez for all eight graphicz setz now exist on the web host, so it is no longer necessary to specify the "Gruntz In Space" URLz for Switchez, Pyramidz and Brickz.

This is 1RR/RR217.jpg being displayed ... , for example.

I uploaded 497 Tile imagez (7 X 71) to the web host today ... the 71 Tilez that are identical for each graphicz set, to the 7 graphicz set folderz that did not have them.

I noticed that the SkeletonDesigner/SkeletonLevel HTML componentz have not been updated in well over a year, so will start correcting that oversight today. (In hopez that someone will actually use the toolz that I have attempted to provide Designerz for creating walk-throughz. )

P.S. I designed these memberz so that they may be printed out on USA standard 8-1/2" X 11" paper.

I admit that they are all "workz in progress", and will likely be updated continually, as I create and/or acquire additional imagez ... or an animated image becomez available to replace a static one. Replacementz will not change the URL you would use to display the image ... they will 'magically' be displayed in updated form on the Forum. But you may want to re-print memberz as additional imagez become available.

This is an example of why NOT to use 'free' web hosts to store your things. (They go away, since they are 'free' until the space is required, or some arbitrary retention period expires.)
