This may be it for me and Gruntz. I just upgraded my system and am now running a GeForce 6800 video driver. Gruntz won't work in 1024x768 resolution with it and I really don't know if I want to "downgrade" my system just to play some of the CLs that are being released.

Does Gruntz (continue to) work with the default screen resolution? Or the 800 X 680(?) screen resolution? If so, you can still play Gruntz. You just have to check the entire map before you begin play, in order to see where everything is, to help you in playing on the (default) smaller screen resolution. (I dread the day when I have to replace my computer ... or major componentz of it! Since I have never been 'speed crazy', I can probably live with my 2.66GHz CPU for a while longer. )

If you are using Windows ME, I know you can right click on the game or a shortcut and select properties, then Compatibility and select Compatibility options. It has worked for a lot of my games (though not all) since I play other games like Gruntz that are 6 or 7 years old.

I tried the compatibility settings on Windows XP for the game and that doesn't work either. It looks like I'm stuck with either the normal resolution or 800x600.
