Seems fine so far. I think now is the right moment to move the Warpstone Grunt from his switch to the center, so that he is also able to reach his checkpoint (eventually).

To be fair, with the Flash Player being discontinued the page was already barely usable, and we have all the important files backed up on GooRoo's hosting, so there was no reason anyone would have to use the site for downloads. I think it's a miracle it lasted so long without being maintained, anyway.

Game's file format specification thread mentions the existence of a "PCX2PID" program, which would allow conversion of (as the name suggests) images from PCX to PID. I don't have the program, but some internet sources say that it may be found in the REZ file for Claw. PCX is a more known file format so you should easily find any JPG to PCX converters.

It's a good idea to take care of the Wings Grunt at this stage for sure. You should focus on creating a path to the Sponge Gun checkpoint now. Also note that if you go to Blue Switches #3 and #4 with your Grunt now without pressing them, you might not be able to reach them later. So maybe it would be better to pick a way that does not involve breaking any crumbling bridges there.

At a bare minimum, someone with the tech ability to update the REZ file with replacement images is required. I know how to do that. It's possible to replace in-game files with the Gruntz REZ Patcher.

It's a tricky one. The idea is to use your Sponge Gun Grunt, who just so happens to be on the western side of the swamp, to shoot your Warpstone Grunt through a tile with no bridge on it. After doing that you will end up on a bridge transition tile (landing dock).

Good observation. If he uses the crumbling bridges to reach the switch from the east, there's no way for him to leave the area. But what if he could, somehow, reach the switch from the south? That would preserve the bridge and allow him to later reach the inner ring of the swamp.

All 4 gruntz have reached their checkpoints around the swamp. Only Spring can activate the Blue switches. Which one should he go for first? Yes, at first it does seem like only the Spring Grunt can do something meaningful. However, before you get him into action, one other Grunt needs to be moved to a Blue Hold Switch to create a path for him. Try to figure out which one.

I am okay with the changes. Since The Yearlong Journey is a collaboration, the parts of it shown in the background might even cover several designers at once.

I'll be ready to work on some more squares in the following week.

I could design the next available squares (E5, C6, A7, C8, G8 and F5) this weekend.

Since I have NO IDEA what selections to make (General/Slide/whatever) I have not done whatever is necessary to use the "latest stable version". It should work without changing the settings. Have you placed the DDraw.dll file in the game's directory? It's possible that there was an error unique to the version you were previously using that is fixed now, because most people that are using dgVoodoo are not encountering this issue.

So if someone knows where the up-to-date link to the latest version of dgVoodoo is, please copy the link into this thread. A link to the author's website is available in the first post: dege.freeweb.hu/You can get the newest version of dgVoodoo in the "Downloads" page of this site, under "Latest stable version" (currently v2.78.1).

I have made some (visual) improvements to the two White Knights (b1 and f3) that I have not uploaded to the web host yet. So please make f3 changes after the others, to be sure you have the correct Knight contents. Those changes also affect square h5 (the final pool). Could you send me a picture with those changes? I'd like to design the F3 square now.

I'll just take F8, G7, E8, D6, D4, F3, E1 and G2 for now, so that all the beginning moves are complete with no empty space in between. But I'm still open for designing some more squares after I'm done with that.

What are the squares that are taken by you at the moment? Just the ones with the puzzles or also the ones with chess pieces?

I would like to create a few puzzles now. But before I begin, there used to be some designing rules in the first post, which were deleted in one of its updates. Do you still have them saved somewhere? From what I remember there were some restrictions on how many coins, items, etc. could be added per designer. I wouldn't want to break them and then have to redesign my parts.
