The bomber you are trying to use will be removed by other means; use the grunt that can arrive at the staircase in one hop instead.

Both secrets are in the same spot, somewhere in the top left area. Usually a secret warp trigger is hidden in a dead end area or somewhere strange... In a related note, most of the things repeat in this level, but not everything...
The secret switch evidently isn't in plain view (and no mention of an unconventional secret switch in the level notes) so you must have to change the tile state of one of the tiles (by busting it open or digging it up). It's not in the 4 holes you can fill up, so it must be under a rock.

I use powerups and toys (like in Jackson Hole) when coins wouldn't be as good. Personally I thought the spot in the toggle maze is deserving of a powerup instead of a coin. It's a similar value, you need both to get a perfect score.

I don't think it will matter if they are pressed, but I didn't try it that way (since it's more work)
You should have three gruntz. Put one on the tile directly below the one switch. Then put one close to the two-way arrows. Make sure the rolling ball is rolling over the green switch, and then send your remaining grunt underneath the left die, to the left of your other grunt. Click on the one switch with the grunt under the die selected. He will pace around at a speed slightly faster than the rolling ball, but, if timed right, for the first few seconds, it will be right at speed with the rolling ball. Then you don't have to worry about switching the red switch; your grunt that's pacing around will do it for you. Soon after you send the pacing grunt into motion, let the ball loose by having the third grunt (the one placed by the two-directional arrows) step on the arrows and onto the yellow switch. Bring him manually to the second yellow switch in the corner and the rock will be able to continue on its path.

(What should have happened by sending that second grunt to the black switch is you have a grunt triggering the red switch at a rate without you having to tell it to do so every time.)
You can now send the other grunt to the second yellow switch (in the corner) by cutting corners and managing where he walks.

To get pass this scection, make it easy on yourself and don't opt for the tight timing! (I thought it couldn't be done using timing, but apparently it was done.)
First, stick the rolling ball so that it's rolling over the green switch Then, stick one grunt between the black switch and the red switch. Send another grunt to the black switch without moving the already positioned grunt out of the way! Right after that, send a grunt (at the right time) to the yellow arrow so it will step on the yellow switch (and let the ball loose)
NOTE: Due to a bug in the game engine, the grunt walks slightly faster than the ball, so if you let the grunt walk around a while, your timing will be messed up!

I am not sure of the whole story of The Rock, as I was from gruntz when Guenter published it, and I assume he didn't plan on there being 7 sequels. I saw his level (though I never really finished it ) and thought it was a great concept to link a level together so I created The Rock II in the second level set, hoping whoever created The Rock III would catch on to the level set theme. Fortunately Guenter created the third one and (it goes without saying) he did produce it in the third level set. (I thought this was a great start to the group of levels; The Rock III is one of my favorite levels.) I wondered if people would know enough to jump back through the level and to those dice, what is everyone's thoughts on that?

Put the toy down on the stairs and have him run into it. Then have him run and break open the giant dice.

If you mean the two swordz gruntz by the water and toggle bridgez, leave them alone; their purpose was just to let the ball by and make you go the other way.
The bomb grunt above the fort is in your way. He will be moved to a location that is more "out of the way" eventually. The bomb grunt to pay attention to is the one by the dollar plant.

is right. You can't do everything by yourself, you need some help from other gruntz. Bombz gruntz forget about bombing their target when given a toy, and you're in luck because you happen to have one handy. You haven't used the gauntletz from the megaphone yet right?

You could also use the method from Salta! Salta! Salta! in here, that is much easier and the way it was intended to be done

Most people get it when I mention there's another way, but if you may have a mental block and that's fine too. Move your grunt to behind the dollar tree in the beginning. You shouldn't have to step on any spikes to get there. Then move that grunt down, stepping on two spikes in the process. Then on the way back, take the same path only in reverse. Your grunt should have 4/5 of his health left or enough health that he will stay alive after 7 more spike-group steps. (A spike-group is one that causes him to lose 1 increment of health)

The orange pyramid thing isn't timed so take your time. Also, though the ball will travel for a while, it will stop eventually. Just focus on the orange pyramids and the rolling balls in the next section.
If you can't even get to the zap cola (without even getting the coin) I am unsure of what the problem is; you should have had some health left which ever route you took. To get the coin through the spikes you will have had to conserve as much health as possible, which means going through that spikes part in the beginning the correct way.

If you really can't, take a screen shot and plot it out there. If that doesn't work I will just send a picture of the route.

This part isn't tricky, just cut corners to take the shortest path around those bomber gruntz. Also, keep your grunt as healthy as possible if you want a perfect, a coin relies on that later.

hehehe, I am glad someone noticed that part. Your past actions show what you must do now. Go back to the beginning and try to conserve AS MUCH HEALTH as possible... there is only one other area you will need to concern yourself with pertaining to this.

You do need three gruntz to get the timebombz, but that shouldn't be a problem. The Gauntlet grunt will get back fine, and your other two grunts should be there as well. Edit: I believe that while the solver has three Gruntz, only one needs to be directly involved in the process of getting those TimeBombz. Well, two, if you count all of the Gruntz on the map.

The rock should head to the left when it goes up those staircases. You should hold the yellow HOLD switch (yes, the same one you used to let the rolling ball free by the black pyramids) so it does go to the left. Then it will be held there on the right arrow and the two way arrow while you do other stuff. When your grunt gets to the conversion area, you will get three gruntz. Is this the answer to your problem? I assumed I answered it already.

Where have I seen using springz for more than one purpose before? Maybe... in another level of mine? GooRoo may correct me if I am wrong, but I think there is only one coin in that secret, so you likely forgot the coin in another location. GooRoo Edit: There is only one Coin in the Secretz area ... look for the other in breakable Objectz and Holez ... and one right out in the open in the middle of some Spikez.

I am not too skilled with the casino graphics set so I appreciate your compliments. My favorite The Rock was probably Guenter's The Rock III, which was one of my overall favorite levels.
