Where do you need help? A walkthrough's not really necessary for this level. Once you figure out one section, the rest is easy; really just variations on a theme. It basically goes like this: Find a SS that allows you to reach an island, find a weapon that you can use to kill whatever enemiez happen to be there, find a straw to suck up the goo puddlez, then find a tool that allows you to uncover hidden items, then warp outta there. If you're successful, then you'll be able to move on to the next island and do it all over again. When you've sucked enough goo to make a new friend (you need 4), you bring him into the game. Sometimes you'll need his help to get rid of the enemiez on an island before you can suck the goo and get the tool. But let us know exactly where you're hung up and we'll help get you unhung.

Hi! I don't know what to do next. My timbombergrunt walk through the blue warp, explodes some rocks which releases a SS, a suerspeed and a toob tool and the checkpoint for the timebombergrunt und a mound. When I get the toobs, the superspeed and hit the SS I can reach the little island, kill the enemies, can suck up the puddlez and get the shovel. After this I walk through the red warp on the yellow holding switch and come to the timebomber checkpoint, which I can dig up. But now I have no timebombz any more. You may not have a timebomb now, but perhaps you will acquire one later when you've come full circle, hmmm? Perhaps there's some buried treasure on the islandz, which when you dig up the correct mound, might allow you to move on.

Perfect in 30:18. A little slower than the given time, but, meh, I'll take it. BTW, Gaby, I wound up with six survivorz--the four on the checkpoint padz, the warpstone grunt, and an extra gauntletz down in the south by the gauntletz checkpoint. What was he supposed to do?

I have tried at least 3 times and just can not get any where with the corner flowers. I have no idea what to do and when. Can't get to BW can not get to coin on green switch at top. Please walkthrough for this area. Nothing I have read is any help really need more details, like a walkthrough. Just do what you can do with the equipment you have available (i.e., dig holez, suck goo puddlez, bash rockz), then find a letter and get out of there. Later on, someone with the right "equipment" will "spring" to your aid to help you collect what you can't get to the first time around. The big rolling coconuts, though threatening, will aid you in your quest; just don't use them to kill enemiez, though they can do the job quite easily. You'll need to do your own dirty work there.

Perfect in 32 minutes flat! It was easy once I figured out which direction to go (thanks for the hint, GooRoo). Thanks, Gaby!

I gave springz the spongz gun and he killed the bomber and gave straw the boomerangz but who goes to the blue switch. The only way I can see the boomerang crossing the bridge is if spongz goes to the blue switch and activates the bridge but can't get off to blow enemy on arrows. I'm wrong somewhere. Help please? What happened to the enemy with the butterknife? Those guys with the butterknives can be rather menacing, but if you gently nudge them in the right direction, they can provide a useful service to you such as holding switches for you.

Okay I give! I have the makings of a new gruntz but I don't see any creation spot except for where the springz gruntz was made. Help please! I only have 3 gruntz and should have four. Where did I go wrong? Thanks Two gruntz enter the puzzle at that GruntCreationPad ... how to move them around is part of that mini-puzzle. You will acquire a fifth Grunt later on ... and until the very end, the entire team (usually) travelz together. Hint: There's something very important to this puzzle underneath the creation point.

No, regular keyboard connected to tower. Thank you for ansdering. I'm hasing a fit because sone keys hase stopped going. help. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I'm afraid your keyboard is toast--as in done for. I've had several experiences with this type of problem and TTBOMK, none of my keyboards has survived the experience. The heart of your keyboard is one large printed circuit board that contains many little wires called traces. If you spill any kind of liquid into it while the power is running you will create one or more short circuits (most likely many) that will burn out those traces (think of a burned out light bulb). Even if you get it all dried out, likely the keyboard will not function correctly as before. My advice--toss that coffee marred keyboard and buy a new one. They're fairly inexpensive.

I don't have a boomerang available yet. I'm in the lower right corner. Thanks. I don't know which Rock Thrower you're referring to as there are a bunch of 'em, but I didn't bring my Springz into play until I reached the open area below the tar pit. Gauntletz and Strawz were all I needed to work the northern tier and the eastern edge down to the bottom right corner. The secretz in the eastern edge don't allow enough time to get 3 gruntz through them, especially a "slow as molasses in January" Springz grunt. A shovel will be needed to reveal a way to get a boomerang.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I appreciate them. Have a great day, David. Good to see you back. Actually oldone, I never really left. I usually check in here several times a day. It's just that I've been dealing with some, shall we say, "personal family issues" for the past 4 years (nearly). Things are slowly returning to normal (at least as normal as can be had given the situation).

Hi! I am just stuck at the beginning of this CL. After killing the two enemies in the left corner at the bottom, the RW take me to a place, where I get gauntletz. There are two rockz revealing a bomb and a secret switch. When I reveal the bomb I cannot go to a safe place there is no room. S o my gauntletz has no chance. The goo well is filled only half, so that I can't create a new grunt who can get the shovel. Where is my mistake? Please help.... Pattymouse You're on the right track. You can move one tile to the right into the treez after breaking the rock and revealing the bomb. It'z not much room to take cover from an explozion but it'z enough.

Monolith's "Gruntz Forum" (the vBulletin version), as well as all their other forums, are all shut down again. Trying to go there via my normal bookmarked link yielded a "Page not found" error. Indeed, the entire lith.com website is down. Going there by way of the normal URL just leads to a splash page that says the site has been temporarily shut down and asks surfers to return again shortly for a NEW, IMPROVED lith.com site. However, if you look to the right hand side of the page................
It looks like Monolith has not entirely abandoned game development at all. Rather it appears that the shut down of their website and its subsequent reconstruction is linked to the debut of their newest game, "F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin," set to debut February 10 (NA) or February 13 (elsewhere). I expect their newly redesigned website will also debut then, too. It'll be interesting to see if they give any kind of a nod to any of their previous games (I'm not bettin' the farm on it).

Uhoh, I am stuck with my springz in the orange "O" There is a path through the "0" that leads from one side to the "?" switch on the other. But it takes you through the center of the "0" where the coin is. If you can't get to that coin because the bridge under it is not raised, then you're not ready to use the springz yet. More than likely, one or more enemiez need to be removed from the switchez they are standing on and guarding. In Custom levelz, a warp will not teleport a grunt to destination that would results in instant death. In this level, look for bridge tilez that are not up that should be up. Hint: Are any of the 4 swordz (2 at the beginning, 2 at the bottom of the map still standing on a switch? He's fine. Once any grunt reaches their checkpoint, they are done with their part. Have you found all 4 WARP letterz and baked a total of 4 gruntz? If not, you still have more work to do before beginning work in the middle.

I think I will have to redownload the level too, because my second shovelz getz stuck in the orange pyramid. almost to the end, just before the rockz grunt...the switch is already down, and he can't go any further...and I don't understand how that happened, because I played it a little further along the last time...my BW by the tar pit worked fine..so this is a new glitch... Did your shovelz find a BOT switch and press it to open up a path into the RP'z? Yes, your shovelz does find more RS'z further along and those will allow him to raise and lower RP'z as necessary to advance to the next puzzle. That first RS, though, the one the enemy Rockz was standing on, is a red herring (pardon the pun) that will put your shovelz into a trap he can't get out of. Just because a switch is there for the pressing doesn't mean you have to press it.

That doggone BP by the start area won't come down. It has to be one of the newly baked gruntz job. I'm working on it. No, actually your #1 grunt gets that BP to go down, just not right away. #1 has lots of work to do (think: Big pooper scooper, big pink gun, & sluuuurrrrp )

This is a terrific level....however, I have gotten to the end and can't put my warpstone gruntz on his pad cause its blocked by the red pyramid. Remember that any Red Switch operates ALL Red Pyramidz in the level. Your 2nd shovelz manipulates 2 different red switchez which operates all the RP'z in the area he goes through, but also the RP's where your shovel/warpstonez grunt is. So use that knowledge to manuever Warpstone to his pad. P.S.: I fell into this little trap myself.

Hi! I've got a problem: I can not reach the boomerang to kill the bomber-enemies. And there is another problem: the bluewharp in the beginning area (with the coin) ends right there where it is starting. Can anybody help me? I'll take your second question first. I'm not sure why it is acting that way. Normally when that happens, the designer means for it to happen that way, usually by means of putting the warp destination in an area where a bridge tile needs to be raised or obstacle cleared away or hole filled before the warp is used. But in this case, where that warp leads to there is no bridge tile or obstacle or hole to be filled. So why it is acting that way, I don't know. Although I have heard of occasional individual cases where the custom level didn't load correctly and this may be one of them. Now as to your first question, if you find the answer to your second question then you will solve your first question (clear as mud?).

stuck.stuck. stuck where to with the wings I'm not finished with this one, yet, but I think that you need to use the wingz to "blow" some enemiez down, then need to fly to a couple of placez you can't get to otherwise. With each set of wingz (there are 4) you will eventually get a straw, suck some goo, then get a warp letter. But don't quote me on that; as I said, I haven't finished the level and I may be totally off base. But I have gotten each of the 4 warp letterz and I'm down on the bottom, but I'm stuck there. I'm blocked by some BOT pyramidz. Think I may need to switch to another grunt and work with that one for awhile.
