You are right this is one of the most frustrating parts of the game. You need to start while the rock is rolling away from you to give you a slight advantage and you need to be ready to click. Don't wait for your gruntz to fully hit the spot where you have clicked before you click on the next spot you want him to walk to. I know it seems hard now - but it is doable - trust me on this. You have come so far it would be awful if you felt you had to give up now.

This really is a difficult secret switch. Mind you, when I did it it was before the patch came out and you could use the shovel gruntz which meant you could fill in some of the holes The only thing I can suggest is save and save again

Gaby, there are two ways to look at this. If you can't get the warp letter than you can't but it won't stop you finishing the game. You do need to allocate numbers to your gruntz so you can pick them quickly to fire the gunz. I completed this level before the patch came out and have to confess that therefore I have never done this puzzle in this format. Have you tried firing the first gunz before you move the gauntletz gruntz onto the arrow? Just a thought.

Which version are you playing? If you haven't applied the patch then use the shovel gruntz to fill in the holes position the gauntletz gruntz on the spot you have filled in and then use one sponge gruntz to shoot at the arrow between where he is standing and the letter and have the gauntletz gruntz step on the arrow. That way you need only fire with one sponge gruntz. If you are doing it the way Fried suggests start your spring gruntz a distance away to give you time to pick the other two gruntz to give them time to fire. It is doable with the gauntltz gruntz as well as shown in the walkthrough

Is this where you are talking about?
Now the sponge grunt waits near the timer switch and the shovel grunt enters the arrow maze. He picks up the megaphone, give the spring to the sponge grunt. Now step on the arrow which leads to the three green toggle switches. From the first green switch step back on the arrow and then straight forward over the other three switches. You're now being lead to the black one switch in the corner. Proceed to the third green switch, walk back to the arrow again and then straight forward to the exit of the maze. Wait on the green hold switch. Now the spring grunt enters the maze. He merely jumps over the switches going the wrong way the first time, but when he jumps over the switches the second time he gets out off the maze!

Shoot at the arrow and then move your gruntz onto the arrow. He will then be shot over the arrow. It takes a bit of timing but not muxh because of course it takes time for the sponge gruntz to actually shoot. This is a technique you will find used on a regular basis once you get past this level

and of course make sure you save before you start and save and save and save If you walk out of the enclosure you can still shoot into it over the wall I found that helped

Are you using your spy gruntz to work out which brick to blow up? Do you have them both close together when you use the health spell?

I know this sounds stupid and I don't know why - but run at that spot from the diagonal. Why it works I don't know

Make sure that your gruntz are at full strength when you do the firing and always save once you have the shield gruntz in a safe position. Assign numbers to your gruntz so you can pick the second one more quickly - I found I had to keep my left hand poised over the number pad and the T Have you looked at Paul's picture of where to position your gruntz? Remember you will be firing at different squares. I found this the most difficult puzzle in the game.

Both I am amazed at the amount of work you have completed so quickly. (Even though I supose it would have been easier the second time round)
