First off, there are some errorz in this level that you may fix viva level editor, they are:
- NE fort is missing a shovel and an eyecandy (there is also a tile abnormality, see if you can find it )
- All the health in the battle is one time only (designerz put 60000 in the wrong box )
Moving on to the fort design. First thing to know is that the SW fort can be conquered with only 2 gruntz , while the rest need 3. The SE fort doesn't have automatic toggle bridgez, but it does have a toggle switch. The NE and NW fortz are the 2 fortz that can be considered normal, but the NW fort does have 2 pathz to the fort.
There are many thingz to be found in this battle as well, the most noticeable onez are the setz of wingz over the holez in the central western and eastern islandz. The islandz found between the mainland have bridgez that may be raised to provide excellent sneak attackz to the sidez. The central northern and southern islandz contain some powerupz (one time only [super speed and invisiblity]) under all the rockz/holez.
Minimum gruntz required to play the battle: 4-5
First, get all the toolz in your fort. Send your shovel(z) to the hole barrier. If a shovel comez by and startz digging, have one of your shovelz start digging about a second later. The enemy shovel will then step on the hole and drop before he can attack.
Once the coast is clear of enemiez with strong toolz, start filling in all the holez in the barrier. Once you get some more shovelz, send them out to fill in the hole barrierz of the other fortz. This makez getting around much safer and faster, however, avoid getting into a situation where too many enemiez are coming at your shovelz. Once they are finished, send them back to your fort.
If you get some timebombz, start blowing the wallz of the center fortification apart. After you're done, you can send timebombz around to blow holez in the wallz of the other fortz (refer to Playing Battlez for strategy).
Begin building your defense with gauntletz, shovelz, clubz, and swordz (clubz and swordz behind gauntletz and shovelz). When you have about 7 shovelz and gauntletz you can attack.
Get a team of 2 shovelz and gauntletz along with 1 or 2 other gruntz that don't have swordz or clubz. Send them to a fort. Which fort you should attack dependz on how tough the fortz defenderz are and what you have to combat them.
When you get to the fort, avoid any bombz and swarm the other defenderz. A good position to start breaking the fort wallz is opposite the side where the enemy gruntz are created. If your gauntletz get killed, send new onez. If none are available, it'z best to pull back the attack. If you are successful in breaking through the brickz, step on the switchez. Have shovelz fill in the holez. Your other gruntz should hold the defense and any other enemiez that come by away.Repeat this for the rest of the fortz.
If you are under heavy attack (gauntletz hacking at your brickz), it'z best to try drawing them away from the fort. If you have no strong toolz, start giving them toyz. Should they be inside the fort, give any on switchez mobile toyz. Try to lure any otherz into the rolling rockz.
