I can't seem to get to custom levels. I downloaded three of them, and they are on C/Grunts/Custom, but when I open Gruntz, there're not there. I may need specific directions! Help please!!

Gruntnutz:
I think it may be the way your putting in the file information. If you have created a custom folder, it should look something like this: C:\Gruntz\Custom (notice the colon after the c prompt and the backslashes ... NOT //). Just a thought.

I can't seem to get to custom levels. I downloaded three of them, and they are on C/Grunts/Custom, but when I open Gruntz, there're not there. I may need specific directions! Help please!! You say you 'downloaded three of them'; were they Custom Levelz from Paul's Gruntz Page (ZIPped files), or from GooRoo's Gruntz Forum (wwd files ... ready to go). This CL is from Paul's Gruntz Page, so it is a self-extracting ZIP file. If you use the icon method of getting to the Gruntz Custom folder, do you see a large brown Gruntz icon? That indicates it is a ZIPped file; double-click on the Gruntz head, and it will unZIP itself to a *.wwd file, ready to play. You would then see a document type icon, with red and blue stripes with the Custom Level name.

I downloaded them from the link on the first message, where it says ")ownload here". They downloaded into the C:\Gruntz\Custom folder, but when I open Gruntz, and click in the menu on the Custom Levelz, nothing opens up. There is a blank window, but nothing in the window. I do see a brown Gruntz head when I Explore, and when I click on it, another window opens that says "Gruntz Custom level, I click on Next, and it says it will be extracted to C:\Gruntz\Custom, but it's still not there when I open the game to find it.

Clicking on the gruntz head is what to do. If your Gruntz.exe is at C:/Games/Gruntz/Gruntz.exe, then putting your level in C:/Games/Gruntz/Custom/ is what you want to do.
Click on the Gruntz head and continue. You should see a level ending with .WWD in the Custom folder once this is done.

The ball should be released before you hit the silver pyramids. The trick is to give yourself as much time as possible to get through the timed pyramids. Patience is a virtue. ;-)

My theory is "If you ask the question, they will answer." I got that part figured out finally, it was because I could not see the ball at first...so, one part to go...and that is the part where the Gruntz walks over the breakable bridge to the arrowz and the gold switch. I am assuming this is a matter of timing? But any help would be appreciated.......thanks!

What you actually downloaded was the Miniature Masterz Custom Level (by Gamer) "4 X 100 Relay", Gaby. I have corrected the local download link, so that it will actually give "6 partz and into the fort!" when the link is clicked. I am sorry about the error. Now you should jump into the correct thread for help with your problem.

I am trying to finish up the dozen or so levels that are half done... I am stuck at the 6th part...with the crumbling bridge in the middle and the rolling rockz at the bottom...what is the timing sequence here? Thanks!

Tango (I think)... WalkingBear (1,2) and luck... my main problem in this CL was the part that has 4 islandz ... the 2 coinz are on the island behaind the entrance and a hole between them... i cannot collect them because i cannot find the trigger for the red warp... did you find it?

Go over to the arrow maze and do some exploring; you never know what you're going to find...in the west.
