GPF gave us the speeds of the gruntz with this post: All Gruntz take 600ms (300ms with SuperSpeed) to get from one tile to the next with the exception of: Tool/Toy/PowerUp | Move 1 Tile in | with SuperSpeed | Spring Grunt: | 800ms | 400ms | Toob Grunt(swimming): | 1000ms | 500ms | Warpstone Grunt: | 800ms | 400ms | Spy Grunt: | 500ms | 250ms | BabyWalker Grunt: | 1200ms | 600ms | Grim Reaper Grunt: | 800ms | not possible | Bomb Grunt (when running with bomb): | 200ms | 200ms |
When Springz is jumping, he movez two Tilez in the same amount of time, doubling his speed. Here are some other speeds that might interest you: Ranged Weapon | Lands in | Rock | 1000ms to destination | Gunhat | 1500ms to destination | Boomerang | 200ms per Tile | Sponge Gun | 1500ms to destination | Welder | 1500ms to destination | Wingz | 500ms per Tile |

Can tell me when a gruntz take super speed, what the speed?(i think less than 500) It is double whatever the Grunt'z normal (walking) speed is. In other words, for most Gruntz it is 300 millisecondz per Tile (600/2).

This information is being added to the Gruntz Level Editor Manual (HTML version) under Toolz in the added table column "Projectile". Additional information on the 'range' of SpongeGun, Rockz, Welder's Kit and Wingz would be appreciated.

Is ToobzGrunt swimming also with 600 ms per Tile in swimming pool? And what about super speed? Interesting question! Perhapz someone should take a bit of time and use a stopwatch on a Toobz Grunt paddling away in open water for about 20 Tilez. If the time came out to be about 12 secondz, then the 600millisecondz per Tile would be true for a swimming Grunt. (But I doubt it would make it that quickly. )

Don't worry, I just wanted to ask, does anybody knows ... if nobody, then I'll do it AND ... AMAZING! ToobGruntz are swimming 1000 ms per Tile! [ 20 tilez ~~ 19 seconds ( I've started already from first tile, so it could be!)] With superspeed, nothing unusual - twice better: 500 ms per Tile! [ 20 tilez ~~ 9 seconds ]. So: someone could even update this . And I know who ... =] But I don't know is it really important. I just needed it to my puzzle.

Gaby has created a few CLz where one way of solving them is to have a Toobz Grunt paddle for a long distance. Perhapz someone (probably NOT me) has the time to do a timing on the travel of a Toobz Grunt in the water? My next free time will come around five hourz from now. If no one has responded with a timing by then, I will take on the task.

Didn't the resultz just get posted by Tomalla?
I already updated the table, apparently I'm a moderator on this board too! Probably from when I requested to make the "How to Get More than 10 save slotz" topic.

How about the time it takes for a grunt with toobz to enter/exit the water - that would be nice to know as well. Also I just noticed that a spring grunt with SS will move as fast as a running bomb grunt if he is jumping over spikez or holez (that gives me an idea )

Also I just noticed that a spring grunt with SS will move as fast as a running bomb grunt if he is jumping over spikez or holez (that gives me an idea ) A Bomb Grunt in kamikaze mode only takez 200 millisecondz per Tile; a Springz Grunt (when jumping) takez 400 millisecondz (same 800 millisecondz as usual, but two Tilez are passed), so with SuperSpeed would (indeed) be as fast as a Bomb Grunt.

How about the time it takes for a grunt with toobz to enter/exit the water - that would be nice to know as well. Geezee ... As well, you can add a lot of other informations: * how much time does any grunt take for pickup something ( i.e. coin ) * how much time does spy grunt take for detecting something ( anim of turning around ) * how much time does bricklayer grunt take for create new brick * how much time does gauntletzgrunt take for breaking i.e. brickz? * how much time does shovelgrunt take for digging moundz ?!?! I think that's really minor properties, which have to be really known If you want to create timed puzzles ( i.e. digging moundz during silver pyramids active, or ? switch etc. ) just use your stop-watch! That's really much easier =/ Isn't it

It should be noted that the speed values in the gooroosgruntz.info/editor/Speedz.html are incorrect and should be the same as the values in the Gamer's original post. - Bomb Gruntz when doing the kamikaze run travel always with the speed of 200ms/tile. The Super Speed powerup does not influence the speed in any way.
- Warpstone Gruntz travel at 800ms/tile (400ms/tile with the Super Speed)
Why isn't this page listed in the GLE index page at: gooroosgruntz.info/editor/index.html? Is it listed anywhere at all? The walking speed values should also be updated in the corresponding tool/powerup pages:
