It works! I used VLC media player to capture the YouTube video, and have it stored on the Forum's web host (and on my hard drive, of course), tested it, and it is playing in another open browser tab.

Now I can locate any other YouTube videos that still exist, and do the same for them.

I wouldn't want this to replace the old video, respecting it's 15 year legacy and all that.
