Noone is replying to my explanation above, of the puzzle Is that because, it made it clear how to do the "fancy footwork", or is it because everybody has given up?

I placed a 'safe' Tile into the Arrowz path that leadz to the right, then down to the southwest Green Hold Switch. That allowed me to reach the GHS and continue on. The southern Grunt then made it through a number of SpotLightz and through madly toggling Green Pyramidz to a dead-end. Impossible (for me) to make it past toggling Green Pyramidz to anywhere else ... and one Green Pyramid in the center of a SpotLight that never lowered. That same southern Grunt activating the Silver Timer Switch only sent the eastern Grunt to a keg of Zap Cola (that he didn't need!) on a Tile from which the only exit led him right back to the place he started from to get the Zap Cola. That place only sendz him to his death, or to the Zap Cola Tile. Without any Toolz, I could make no progress with any Grunt, so I deleted the CL. (I didn't want to tempt myself into another frustrating Gruntz session, when I have other thingz that need to be done for the Gruntz Forum.)

Enough is enough. I will try to write a walktrough - simple text with a few pictures because i don't understand this html formate (but not until my fourth level is completed). But until it is finished... READ ABOVE... The timing is not tight. It is not nearly impossible to clear this puzzle. It is not necessary to create a safe spot. The problem is that the timing is playing tricks on you, but if you read the trick properly, you will find that the timing is easier than it seems. My brother on 11 can do it in the first, second or third try - but of cause he knows the trick. To GooRoos problem: You will have to move the eastern grunt in a different direction after activating the Silver Switch. He should end up at the puzzle with the spikez (another puzzle with tricky timing on the way).

Too frustrating....I haven't deleted it yet...but I will wait for the walkthrough...and for it to be tested...and then, maybe,....I'll give it a second try...
If so many people are having trouble solving it...even though your 11 year old brother can do it...there must be something that we are all missing...and we have all been playing this game for years...

If so many people are having trouble solving it...even though your 11 year old brother can do it...there must be something that we are all missing...and we have all been playing this game for years... He has been playing this game for years too. Actually he was the one who bought the game. But I am glad that you realize that you have missed something. I will try to summerize the problem (and the solution): The big arrow puzzle with spotlightz circling in, is tricky. Especially because you immediately see two ways of timing the puzzle. Either you (1) make the spotlight hit the (second) tile just after yourself, or (2) you walk out on the tile just after the spotlight have hit. If you try the first solution you will either get caught immediately or in the middle. If you try the second solution, you will find that you get caught by the spotlight just before you reach the GTS. Then you concludes that the second solution must be correct, and then tries to perfect your timing. But your own mind has played a trick on you. The first solution - how impossible this may seem - is the correct one. Read this carefully, because this is the way of solving this puzzle. (The only thing this little walkthrough needs is a few pictures, but luckily my brother have decided to write a real walktrough, to those who are completely lost)

I've asked him to make a quick walkthrough to the first fourth of the level only - as a start. So that I may be able to share the solution to this puzzle (and the quite confusing part after it) sooner. Then the full walkthrough will come later.

It's not that it is so confusing, ILOVEGRUNTZ, it's that the TIMING is SO TIGHT!!! Many players don't want to spend 15 minutes waiting for the spotlight to be in the exact place...before they can move to the NEXT spot!
I got all my gruntz on their checkpointz and also the one gruntz through the arrowz...and everyone else to their first spot...and then it seemz that there is no where to go...the north grunt can't get to the wingz...the bottom grunt is stuck in the RR area...can't get out of there without getting squished...
So that is why a walkthrough will help...at least we will know where to go, while we are waiting for the stupid spotlight to be in the exact place so we can move!

Oh i forgot. As for the progres the south grunt shold help the east grunt with the silver pyramids. Then the east grunt should proceed before doing anything else in the north or south.

Hey guys, I just want to let you know that I did finish this level last month with a PERFECT in 83:09. Believe me it was a long and frustrating adventure After I finally got past the 4 bridges to each checkpoint I saved and kept that save slot because I didn't want to do that all over again (don't remember all the moves I did to finally get there). I had to restart from that point many times. You really need a lot of save slots because of the timing parts. When you finally get through them you want to save and then you come upon another timing part. There are too many hard timing parts to get through. You also have to do things in the right order. I found that when I had the toobz to go through green pyramidz, I found that I had already moved my grunt that steps on the GHS to another area and couldn't go back This was one of the toughest levels I have played. My compliments to you ILOVEGRUNTZ I don't know how you came up with the puzzles, but they took a lot out of me!!!

Here is a start for producing an HTML walkthrough. I know, and I may try to make one later... but right now, the important thing is to get a good walkthrough out to all those gruntzerz who are completely lost. I think that I can figure out how to make one now, what confuses me is how to make it available to others, but i guess, you are writing on that too.

Custom Levelz, walkthroughz and screen imagez (as of the Statz Page) are all sent to me via e-mail attachmentz. I then upload them to my web host, and link to them. I (usually) review everything, and (if necessary) make changez ... sometimez as small as renaming because the web host doesn't like apostrophez (') for some reason. I prefer a Statz Page image 640 pixelz wide by 480 pixelz tall (the default Gruntz screen size), borderless, so sometimez use Paint to trim off the excess. JPEG is also the preferred storage format ... BMP (BitMap) is the worst, because of the huge sizez. The namez of the HTML componentz are as a convenience to me, for when I convert a NotePad (Word, et cetera) file into HTML. I can copy a 'template' component and then copy and paste from the writer's source into my new member(z). With the file namez alwayz the same, the relationshipz are very easy to handle. "../Author.html" will alwayz link to display the Designer's information from any Custom Level component. I spent 38 yearz as a computer programmer/analyst, and learned early in my career that maintenance is 80% of that type of effort. So I plan ahead for maintenance ... it savez me much frustration, when something has to be changed. So that is the reason for the naming convention I advocate ... easy (for me!) to maintain.

I have decided to try and play this level because of other puzzlez in the next partz. As most gruntzerz were, I am stuck in fornt of the huge spotlight circle. I'm trying to figure out which way I'm supposed to go (I'm talking about the left hold switch). There are 2 directionz to go (left-down or right-down). I figured out the right way to survive while cheating. The spotlight crossez over a left arrow pointing to 2 cross arrowz. The trick seemz to be getting the spotlight not miss you narrowly there # # .

The timing is when the spotlight is in the bottom left corner, but you will have to try a few times before its gets perfect You were RIGHT!!!!!! FINALLY someone understood what i have been trying to tell you in at least 15 posts. (of cause I was right - I designed the level)

Gaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I finally get the 3 gruntz together and suddenly I realize I missed the blue switch that operatez the bridge tilez around the wingz. Even worse, it'z far too late to go back and try again, because I would have to replay the whole level ) If there'z one thing I really hate, it'z replayz, because I loathe doing thingz again !! But otherwise after I got by the big spotlight, I actual began enjoying the level, the puzzlez are really good, but I just hate having to do them again. I advise you eliminate the the eyecandy on the switch to make it clear that you have to go there. I do however, believe I would have got the prefect if I had pressed it. The reason I missed the switch was probably because I was way too focused on getting past that toggling air bridge . So there is a very low chance that I will try to play this level again, sorry. (but it is a good challenge , but it is also way to cruel to hide something important in an area of high difficulty [for some wierd reason I didn't even notice that landing])

I am stuck at a point where Toob gruntz and the new Bomber gruntz are near a single silver pyramid. The Bomber pressed on the green switch and the Toob has passed over. But there is a Spotlight which is revolving very very fast and im unable to get past it. Is there any other way to get the Toobz across???

I think bombz was supposed to run through that spotlight. I don't have the level, so I can't remember exactly.
