This level was named after the level "Backwoods" in Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (for Nintendo DS), which was a small forest with a few challengez. There are several wayz to complete this one, but if you want the PERFECT! score, you'll have to seek quite a few coinz!

Alright I'm gonna send the level to GooRoo. This one will also have a walkthrough!

I will try again tomorrow to verify this one, and hope to get TWO new Gruntz Custom Levelz distributed to the Gruntz Fanz. I was unable to refresh the Wingz Grunt's flying time, as it sayz can be done in SwordGrunt's walk-through. And I am too tired to try again tonight.

I have no answer to the problem of a Wingz Grunt with insufficient Wingz power to complete the puzzle. (I also have had no answer from SwordGrunt regarding a solution, so feel I have found a semi-fatal flaw ... only semi-fatal because it is possible to bring the Warpstone piece to the King.) That's the reason I have not distributed this Custom Level (also holding up on distributing Teo's Custom Level " IcyEncounter" ... in hopez of sending out two at a time ... but I will send out IcyEncounter today!).

It's a combination of trickz discovered. The "give your own grunt a toy to play with" and "wingz recharged after playing with toy" trickz.
(my only trouble in beta test was the first one)

(my only trouble in beta test was the first one) That is what I cannot get to work ... give your own grunt a toy... he simply sayz "thank you" (or some such) but never triez to play with it.

Sorry, I was away this week and couldn't do anything on the computer. To recharge Wingz flight time, look near the trio of red pyramidz (not the onez near the shovel, the other trio). There is a tile between two of those... grey pyramidz (that block and do nothing else... I always forget their name >_>), you have to place your Wingz grunt just next to it (below the red pyramid most to the left). Place Warpstone a little far from it, and tell him to use his toy on that tile... presumably a toy box would appear there, but if your Wingz grunt is standing there, he'll ride the toy. However since there will be nowhere to move, his toy will break immediately. There you have a fully charged Wingz Grunt.

So it is a dual timing thing, similar to having a SpongeGun shoot at an Arrow and have a friendly Grunt step on the Arrow when the sponge arrivez? I will try that when I return from my match.

Yes, except since you can place Warpstone as far as you wish from the destination, it's 0% tight timing

So... did you finish this one GooRoo? It's been almost two weeks. Same for Sword, Sweet Sword.

So... did you finish this one GooRoo? It's been almost two weeks. Same for Sword, Sweet Sword. I have not played much of Gruntz (except for working on walk-throughz and a quick "look-see") since before Christmas. I am just getting started on submissionz today. The CLz that have been distributed were done without (my) verification, based upon the BETA testerz ... and that is what I am going to do today ... review the submissionz and distribute the onez that have a Statz Page image and/or walk-through and/or BETA testing by a reliable person ... that meanz just about everything I have that has not already been distributed.

Damn, where's the walkthrough when we need it?? I remember you have to press two BOTS or something like that, to go back later on the level and grab the shovel - before doing so, make sure the Warpstone is secure next to the king, so losing the SpongeGun won't be a problem. I'll look for the walkthrough when I'm back home tomorrow.

The walk-through has been available for quite some time ... but I did not change the to to indicate that it existed ... and apparently no one clicked on the image "just in case". I have updated the original post now, so people should do better at the solution.

I was able to get the PERFECT! Thank you SwordGrunt for the level and also thanks to both you and GooRoo for the walkthrough. I sure got confused and had missed a few things. That "toy" trick was real interesting.

So the Wingz will not play the toy? But is a toy box laid down?
You must not give the toy to him directly, but instead, order your other Grunt to place a toybox right next to your Wingz. Then, before the Grunt with the toy reaches his destination (timing is not the key here as you may place your Grunt as far as you want), move Wingz to the tile your toy box was supposed to be placed. When the Grunt with the toy reaches the place, he will give the toy to your Grunt, instead of laying down a toy box, since your Grunt is standing on that tile.
