I can only speculate as to why this Custom Level was not distributed over two and a half yearz ago! Perhapz there was no announcement thread created for it (by either the Designer ... or me), and I just "blew it". Or, perhapz I thought some timingz needed to be changed, and did not get an answer back ... and forgot about it! I will try to re-play it when I return home from my match today, to ensure that it is truly playable ... by me(!) and not just by a nimble-fingered teenager. (Bridge timing alone IMHO deservez the rating of 'Hard'.) BTW, the opening screen is not centered on the Grunt you need to work with right away (IMHO). It is centered on Grunt #2 ... who can activate a Green Toggle Switch and move past an enemy Grunt (with some difficulty). While Grunt #1 can do battle with an enemy Grunt immediately, and produce a result . I may change my opinion when I can return and really try to solve it ... I only made the briefest of attemptz, just to see what might be involved.

I know that I completed this one ... soon after it was sent to me(!) ... since I have a "PERFECT!" Statz Page image. But I have not been able to (re-)solve it in the past week. I have dilly-dallyed with it long enough. It is time for Gruntzerz to try their hand at it!
Check your e-mail in-boxez, Gruntzerz, another Gruntz Custom Level is on its way!

I am at the part where I have 2 gruntz standing on the purple switchez and a wingz grunt going through the spikez and lowered purple pyramidz. Then wingz goes to where the ball is and standz on the switchez to make the ball roll. Then, I sent my wingz through the blue warp which takes me to the top area where the spongegunz are and then what?? This is a strange level. I know I probably missed some things earlier, but don't get where to go from here. Also, don't know if it's a bug, but gruntz can walk on water in certain placez.

I see you have gone beyond the walk-through that I was working on ... and then I got side-tracked to something else ... and forgot to come back and finish it. I played this puzzle long ago, and wrote the walk-through from memory ... and I need to finish re-playing it in order to remember what happenz, who does what ... and when. That is a new one on me! I didn't try to emulate Jesus, myself, so never discovered an area where that is even possible. There must be some tilez that the Designer changed the attributez for, so that they became 'Clear' (safe to walk on).

"I see!" said the blind carpenter, as he picked up his hammer and saw.
This is a case of two interruptions causing two entries in the "By Release Date" indices: 1. February, 2007; I had been diagnosed with prostate cancer (Gleason stage 4) and was beginning 25 days of radiation therapy to get the Big C that got out of the prostate. 2. September, 2010; 'discovering' the dropped ball, distributing it and starting the walk-through (from memory) ... and never truly finishing it.
By now, my ability to use HTML(4) has increased, and my 'standard' walk-through has changed quite a bit. So the first thing I will do is bring the various components up-to-date. Next, replay the Quest in order to determine how to finish (the Quest and the walk-through).
Of course, I will first update the 2010 Release Date index to make it clear that it is a delayed release of the 2007 entry. (And possibly delete the 2007 entry.)
So close! With minimal changes, this one could have been 100% MPI compliant. Move the Warp Letter to where the two Coins are, delete the BOTS and add one BP to be controlled by the BOTS the Straw Grunt activates ... and (maybe) add two Coins to the prize earned via the Question Mark Switch and it is fully compliant. Playable in 'Easy' mode with a result as PERFECT! as possible, acquiring all of the Toolz, Toyz, Coinz, etc.
There are a couple of mismatched Switchez (operating the wrong TileTriggers) that are simple Tile replacements. There are also some 'Glows' in meaningless places; one could be in THE meaningful place at the SecretTeleporterTrigger.

I just discovered part of my problem with this Quest: I do not have the same version that was played to achieve the Statz Page image!!!
My version only has 13 Coins and 1 Red Warp, while the Statz Page image shows 15 Coins and 2 Red Warps! In my version that I have been playing, there is no way to get to the area with the Warp Letter ... the other RW must be the way.
So I am going to download the WWD on the Forum's web shot, and see if it is different from what I have been playing.
Edit: No luck! Same 13 Coins and 1 Red Warp.
Help! If anyone has the version with two Red Warps (and 15 Coins), please send it to me.

This Quest reminds me a bit about my own "Metamorphosis". Switches that do something other than what the MPI designers intended.
This one has Silver Timer Switches operating Bridge Tilez (in two different parts of the puzzle (so far). When I look at the "View the map!" image I think that the STS near the easternmost Blue Warp should have been a Blue Toggle Switch to raise the submerged Bridge Tiles. Not so! Those Bridge Tilez are under the control of the STS! The Grunt can't simply "Point and Click" to cross!

I managed to solve the 13 coins version to a "Perfect" score, but I admit it's somewhat difficult.
Not because of the bridge at the beginning. The timing is synced perfectly to a Grunt's walking speed, so you can just click on the last bridge tile and get to the other side - what's so hard about that? Definitely the biggest impediment to solving this level is the lack of information given to the solver - lots of different objects are hidden behind trees, with no way of knowing what before walking into the tile. The red warp, which is required to unlock the secret switch, is also in a completely unmarked location. Combine this with the erratic behavior of the silver switches, which are also used to control bridges, and you get a pretty chaotic landscape, where nothing is known for certain until activation. However, this is not entirely a bad thing - it makes the level quite interesting to play. Once you learn all the tricks, it doesn't take long to solve - my final attempt took me a little over 22 minutes.
The level's likely to have multiple solutions, as I managed to complete it without using the wings and invisibility powerup. In fact, I did not know of the existence of that powerup before I reached the king's fortress for the first time. The level also has some oddities related to the crumbling bridges, which seem to be caused by modifying default tile attributes - as somebody mentioned earlier, it is possible to walk on water in some places.

How did you manage 5 Gruntz? To me, the 2 SpongeGun Gruntz in the toggling Green Pyramdz with a BOTS and 4 Coins are 'unsuckable' ... not enough time to stand and suck up the Goo before being squishing by a rising GP. Even that, you would need 2 Sword Gruntz' Goo ... and I didn't think Death Touch left any Goo behind. (I will have to pay attention when (if?) I get that far.)

I agree, the Gruntz in the pyramids section are unreachable. But enemies killed by the death touch do leave goo. By the way, the fifth Grunt is not actually needed for anything in the level. I only used him to fix my earlier mistake and pick up the invisibility powerup, as I could no longer reach it with my other Gruntz.

Ah! So the fifth Grunt was "MPI Love This Game", not some magical way of sucking up the Goo from two enemy SpongeGun Gruntz.

No, the Grunt was created in a legitimate way. There are enough goo sources on the map to even get a half of the sixth Grunt.

Definitely the biggest impediment to solving this level is the lack of information given to the solver - lots of different objects are hidden behind trees... Look for another set of goo puddles in the northern part of the map.

Unfair! Not even a quivering edge of Goo visible to give the solver a clue that there is something there that a certain Grunt may find!
There are two Glows in places apparently of no interest at all(!) and nothing at all(!) to indicate things such as the SecretTeleporterTrigger ... or Goo Puddles. Just a nasty design.
