For about 3 months now, whenever I play games on my computer(Gruntz, for example), there's a "cut-off" of about 10 pixels at the left side of the screen. It's hard to try and "guess" what might be there, such as in Gruntz when I have to walk through the leftmost column of tiles. If any of you know how to prevent the "cut-off", please post here.

Find the manual on your monitor, and locate "adjustments" (or some such wording). It is possible that somehow the horizontal has been adjusted downward (or just that the monitor has grown somewhat 'old' and 'tired'), and needz to be tweaked a little.

Is it only when you play Gruntz or does it happen in Windows itself as well?

Perhaps a more pertinent question is: What type of monitor do you have, CRT (old-style bulky job) or LCD (newer style flat screen)?

The moniter is LCD, and as far as I can tell it only works with Gruntz and another game.

What operating system do you have on the computer (Windows (95, 98, Xp 2000, ME, Vista, etc.))?
Have you applied the screen resolution patch ('registered' a resolution higher than 640X480)?
